I am trying to transition to one vendor.

How can I change the color from this attached image from green to black or any other color.

I have affinity photo and affinity designer.

I do know this is a simple task. I'm tired and stymied. :)

Because it is a pixel layer one way to go is to open it in Affinity Photo, use the Flood Select Tool (a.k.a. magic wand) with Continuous unchecked & Tolerance set to about 20% to select all the green pixels.

Then switch to the Flood Fill Tool (a.k.a. paint bucket) set the same way for Continuous & Tolerance, choose a color & click once somewhere within the 'marching ants pixel selection.

Adding a Threshold adjustment layer will give you black (but only black)

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

A Threshold adjustment will make the green parts black and leave everything else transparent, creating an ideal mask. Cover the canvas with a coloured rectangle and go to the Layers panel. Group the adjustment layer with the logo layer, drag the group and drop it onto the thumbnail of the rectangle to give you a coloured logo.

The quickest/easiest way to do this is to apply an HSL adjustment in Photo.

Acer XC-895 : Windows 11 Home Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz :  32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 –
Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) – Also all apps on 12.9" (Second Generation) iPad Pro, OS Version 17.7.5
Old Lenovo laptop : Windows 10 - v1 and latest beta versions of all Affinity apps – Ancient Toshiba laptop: Vista - PagePlus X9, DrawPlus X8, PhotoPlus X8 etc

I favour Alfreds method which works great for all kinds of colour masking, but personally I'd redraw it so it would be vector

Just fired up Vectorize which is a free tracing app and did a vector trace - works great

See attached

Create a gradient on a fill layer above the pixel layer then Arrange/Move inside

Aahh, I notice it's a Designer file, if that doesn't have fill layers then use a full size rectangle shape instead

And in AD instead of Layer > Arrange > Move Inside you can just drag the "Background (Pixel)" layer over the thumbnail of the rectangle layer so the pixel layer becomes a mask for the rectangle.
