It is possible even in AD, but it makes no fun. Perhaps there are more elegant solutions than my hacky approach with the Appearance panel and two dashed lines (forgot to do this with Triangle Wide in the example to come closer to your desired arrowhead). And yes, custom arrowheads would be nice.

With the Appearance panel you can "stack" several strokes and in this case I used two dashed lines with identical Dash values, but a different Phase for the stroke getting next to the triangle. You have to experiment a bit to get close to what you want.

Very clever, but also very fiddly! It’s probably easier to draw a long, thin hexagon for each line.

We really need the custom arrowheads that the OP asks for.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI.
