carl123
Yes, with some specific requirements Windows 7 (Service Pack 1; Aero enabled) Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Yes. Desktop Window Manager (DWM) is used to compose the desktop: starting with Windows 8, desktop composition is enabled for all themes, but on Windows 7 it’s only enabled when Aero is enabled. The screenshots in your post clearly indicate ‘Issue not present’ for each of the listed issues that could prevent the use of Aero effects. Bri-Toon
Rodsal23, it's a little confusing seeing how you are unable to run the program by installing the Aero theme that Alfred suggested, yet getting dialogs that there is no issue present. So I have two questions. 1) Did you get any dialogs prior to the ones you showed us? 2) Do you get a different result by enabling the Window Manager first and then following the same steps? (I ask because of the dialogue in the second screenshot, and I wonder if nothing is detected because of an older operating system verses an updated download. Could that be possible you think that older security may not identify it?) Quote The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. We’re seeing ‘Issue not present’ in @rodsal23’s screenshots, but we’re also seeing scrollbars! I can’t help wondering whether there might be issues that are present but not shown in those screenshots. And good point on the scroll bars. I wonder if there is a present issue after all that it just not within scroll view like you said. I guess we'll wait to see what the OP has to say. GarryP
A 64-bit CPU is one of the minimum requirements for the Affinity applications on Windows, as can be seen in the “Tech Specs” section of the Affinity website, see attached image taken from the Designer page.
