how do brush what 2x2 pixels square? sqaure tool makes always. 1x1 brush or much bigger in next step i think 5x5pixels.

there is example square brush sizes 1px,2px,3px,4px,5px,6px,7px in this order i bet not only one who things looks odd. these are singel brush "hits". which tells how brush stroke looks. this need is realted old school style graphics what i want do.

i used pixel tool and custom brush. becouse there is premade square one brush at least i dont found it.

I runned repari and started program again now work exactly what i expected.

But sitll when i type 3.5px gets 5px brush. and 5.5px goes to 7px. but 8.5px goes to 8px.

You cannot have a fraction of a pixel. You can have 1 or 2 pixels not 1 and one half.

I think @MxHeppa is questioning why the three examples are treated so oddly. I would expect all of the values to be rounded up to the nearest whole number (i.e. from 3.5 px to 4 px, from 5.5 px to 6 px and from 8.5 px to 9 px, respectively); there may be an argument for rounding up or down to the nearest even number (e.g. from 8.5 px to 8 px) but the first two examples would still be wrong.

So would I but they ain't. Integers work fine but decimals don't. Bug or what?

yes but should rounded correct way.
