  1. Como podemos exportar nuestros archivos raw ya revelados de los software oficiales de Sony, Olympus, Canon, Nikon, o recomendado como CaptureOne Express para Fujifilm y Sony a Affinity Photo para continuar editando las imágenes. Saludos
  2. See image attached, in the bottom left corner when I open a RAW image (Nikon D800 .nef), there's a square/block that's just a re-rendered copy from another part of the image. It goes away when I close the image and open it again and only happens for the first image I open during an editing session.
  3. The list of nikon lenses in the lens correction menu is incomplete. AF-S FISHEYE NIKKOR 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED
  4. I have a Nikon D750 with https://www.tethertools.com/product/tetherpro-usb-2-0-a-male-to-mini-b-8-pin/
  5. Hello everyone! I'm slowly transitioning from Adobe and relearning a few things along the way. One area that I am having a hard time with is lens profiles. I photograph real estate with a Nikon D600 and Tokina 17-35mm f4 full frame lens. In Lightroom, there is a lens correction area and it automatically detects and corrects for the lens distortion. I have downloaded the latest lensfun profiles( GitHub - lensfun/lensfun: The Lensfun project Git repository for anyone else who finds this) but it is not listed. Is there any other way to obtain the lens profile? Can we request it? Is there a
  6. Hello- I am a new Affinity user (got the program this January.) I have questions about the Develop persona. I shoot with a Nikon D7000 and use a Dell laptop running Windows 10. I find that NEF RAW files usually display as very dark in the Develop persona and lighten significantly when I hit "Develop" and move to the regular Photo persona. Then I have to re-adjust the levels if I want to get it back to how the photo appeared after edits in Develop. The confusing thing is, this does not happen with every image, and I can't figure out which variables differ between the photos that previ
  7. Personally, I have been having a hard time accepting AP as a replacement for PS. There is a performance issue and quality issue. I have attached a side-by-side example of a NEF image taken with my D750, both zoomed too 100% . The image were processed similarly, or as best I could. You can PS did a much better job, especially in regards to sharpeness. Has anyone else done this comparison? If so, what were your results?
  8. Hey! Here I will some photos of my cats (Marx and Engels - yes, they are red cats haha) which I take with my Nikon D90 and edit in Photo afterwards. Enjoy them and I do appreciate constructive feedback! Chris
  9. When attempting to open greyscale NEF photos from a Nikon Coolscan V, affinity splits the photo into 3 images, each taking up approx 1/9 of the full frame of the picture, with the rest blank space. Is there a fix or workaround to this issue? Attached below are the original file (01), what the file should look like, as opened in Photoshop (Proper), and what the file looks like in Affinity (Error). 01.nef
  10. The following are edited from RAW files from the Nikon D5300.
  11. The RAW format NRW produced by the Nikon P1000 cannot be corrected and is obviously not yet supported. I can use Capture NX-D to convert to Jpeg. Will the format for the P1000 be added to the supported RAW processing? I have tried the NEF format produced with the Nikon D7100 and that works well.
  12. Hi. I noticed this banding in the raw files from my z6. I suspect it might be a problem with affinity photo, as the same pictures look fine in other editing software, or as SOOC jpegs. Could this be an issue with affinity photo's converter? I am attaching a crop that shows the issue, as I cannot attach the entire 50megabyte raw . The striping is vertical and can be seen mostly in the out of focus areas.
  13. I used my DSLR Nikon D7200 for the fist time since installing .258, when I try to open the file Affinity goes so far then just shuts down, I tried files from last year which previous builds had opened, same effect. I have 112 Gig of free disc space, I use windows 7 and have 8 gig of ram. one time I had the error message below. can you help please.
  14. When I open raw files from Nikon capture NX-D into affinity photo, the files are darker as compared to ones in capture NX-D meaning exposure down by almost 1-2 stops. Does any one knows what is the reason behind it and how one can fix this issue. Thanks
  15. I've just tried to import my RAW NEF files from a nikon Z6 and they do not work. It corrupts the file or doesn't understand it. They work fine in the nikon image viewer software. Please tell me I haven't wasted my money getting Affinity Photo. It's crazy if it actually cannot understand these files.
  16. Hello, I am a new Affinity Photo user and I found out, that when I export file to JPEG, I loose EXIF info. When I open RAW file from my camera Nikon D700 in Development persona, EXIF tool doesn't read all the EXIF info (compare to Nikon ViewNXi, where I see a lot more EXIF information about image settings, camera info, flash info, Picture control settings etc.). When I develop image, work on it in Photo persona (using NIK collection plugin as well) and export it to JPEG (embed metadata checked), EXIF data is lost then. Is there any way to preserve all the original EXIF data embedded in R
  17. I have just loaded Affinity to edit ones photo's however the first Nikon Raw file I try to open the package crashes, it has repeated for the second and third attempt. I get the feeling I have wasted my money. I believe it should open in the developer. The Nikon NEF files are about 45MB.
  18. Hi, When I open a raw file taken with my Nikon D810, the photos look very flat and dull. Is this normal behavior with RAW files or am I doing something wrong? When I open them in other applications, they look as I would expect them to. I've attached a screenshot and a copy of the RAW file to help troublshoot my quesiton. Left is a different application (whose name shall not be mentioned) and Affinity Photo is on the right. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I'm using Affinity Photo for Windows version 1.6.5.123 and my computer is on Windows 10 with 32gigs of memory
  19. So I've read through the forums, and see that the Nikon D610 is listed under the supported RAW cameras. I've also seen several posts where people are having issues opening multiple nef files. Since nef is Nikon's raw format, I'm curious as to whether or not it is actually supported. I recently deployed AP to my end users, and have been getting feedback that the application is constantly freezing and crashing. After speaking with them, I've discovered that the files they process come from Nikon D610's and that they must be in a RAW format. Well, the only RAW format that these cameras can
  20. Hi Guys, I was just wondering if there was an update as to when support for RAW files taken with the Nikon B700 camera will be available? I still cannot open the raw files without them going all weird, strange colour and distorted. Thanks! Billie
  21. Hi Guys, Just bought my mum a Nikon B700 camera so she could come into the world of raw. Last night she had problems with not seeing previews when trying to open her raw images through affinity photo. I fixed this by installing the codec from Nikon. But when she tries to open her raw file the image is opening up really weird? I have attached a screenshot of how it opens and the raw file for anyone to test it out. I have tried opening it on my pc which doesn't have the codec on in case it was that but I get the same strange image? Anyone got any ideas? Both pcs are running on Windo
  22. Hello Affiniciados: A total newbie with Affinity Photo, Windows version 1.6.2.97, with many questions. I notice in Andy's list of supported RAW cameras 1.6.x the Nikon D7500 is not listed. Does that mean that if I have questions related to that camera, I am out of luck? Or is it soon to be added to the list? Questionably, Peter
  23. Nikon and Canon cameras have changeable picture control settings that can be changed in raw photos. Can AP allow us to have the option to change that setting as LR does ie. Portrait, Landscape, vivid, monochrome, etc.
  24. I cannot see any layers after opening a Nikon NEF/RAW file in Affinity 1.6.6 on my Macbook Pro (both layers panel and layers menu) I have tried to reset the Studio, but this makes no difference. Layers are not the only menu drop downs that are missing from the menu bar. I can only see 5 menu drop downs instead of the usual 11. I have the same issue with two different Macbook Pros, running different operating systems and with NEF/RAW files from multiple Nikon DSLRs. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks
  25. Can you add support for NRW format? I purchased the app in app store principally for RAW editing, and it does not work (and nothing in app info is specified about NRW not being supported)
