When exporting a document in the export persona the manually entered size (e.g. 1200w) is not accepted. The document in the first place is exported with the original dimensions. Repeating the step a second time (without changeing anything in between) exports the document correctly as entered in the edit field. Cheers, Timo

When I export the icon on a transparent background (using the export persona), she always turns out on a white background To avoid this, I export out in draw persona, using the export function in the drop down menu (export > selection without background)

Hello, This issue is similar to my earlier post here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/26841-cant-export-single-artboard-instead-of-whole-document/ So please either delete, mark as duplicate, etc. if it has already been addressed and fixed. Whenever I go into Export Persona mode the right panel just disappears and I can't click on anything. Even if I go back to Draw Persona, I still can't do anything. I essentially have to restart Designer if I want to be able to work. However, while in Export Persona, if I click and drag I can see the right panel highlights changing. You can see this in the screenshots I attached. I'm on Mac 10.8.5. Thanks for any help, -Jeremy

When I When I clicked on Export Persona, the right panel went blank. Clicking on the Photo persona does not bring back the right panel contents. Clicking on any other panel asks me to perform an action requiring the use of the right panel contents. I can close the current image but then I can no longer Open an file or even create a New document. All I can do is Quit the app and reopen it. I'm running the 1.5 beta on 10.8.5.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but pixel-snapping and export size to me is one of the biggest outstanding issues that takes up a lot of time. Essentially, even when keeping Force Pixel Alignment and Move By Whole Pixels turned on and making sure a shape is a whole pixel measurement, moving a shape, group, or whole artboard often still positions the shape on a partial pixel, resulting in an additional pixel on export. The only workaround I've found for this is to go back to the Draw Persona, manually input an even pixel coordinate into the transform panel, then reattempt to export. That's fine for a few items, but if you're dealing with setting up numerous layers or artboards for export, that can be quite time-consuming.

Hi, could you make an input field for individual pixel resolutions (not 1x,2x,3x). into the export persona? I need it for css layouts. With this feature i could say each Slice how big he will be. Thanks Felix PS: If you don't understand what i mean look in the Files;-)

Hi, Im having problems exporting a multiple page PDF. It looks fine on screen and then when I export it, its changes some of the typography but only on one page. Is also pixelates this images on one page. The rest are the same. It is a large document. But I exported it the same way last week and it was fine. So Im not really sure whats going on. Ive tried changing the style of the copy and copying the style from other bits of text that are the same on the document. Ive tried different export methods for PDF and its still the same. Also not all the text on that page is being effected only some of it. Ive also tried ungrouping the layers that contain the text and seeing if there was any accident effects put on those effected layers but found nothing. I can't show the whole document or page because its for work but I've screenshot a small piece of text from both on the programme and the PDF (the PDF is the lighter text) If anyone could give me any help I would be grateful.

Recently I've needed to quickly export identical images in various formats, including .pdf, .png, .svg, .jpg, and so on—and also with varying file sizes. Since the image doesn't need to be any different in any way other than file format and resolution, it is unnecessarily time-consuming to always have to readjust the settings every time I edit the file and have to re-export the many versions of the image or to try and manually make a load of identical slices. It would be much easier if I could duplicate a slice and then adjust the duplicate slice's export options. That would mean I could quickly create five-or-so slices of the same dimensions and position—just with differing export options, and then make edits to the image and just export simultaneously in different formats, but with the same area of the image being exported.

Hi! Is it possible to automatically adjust the size of the slice to the same size as the document? I have several layers and all of them I need to save as separate files with different file formats (some as PNG, some as JPEG, etc.). I need a little bit of support on this case from Affinity Photo community. ;) Thanks in advance for help! :)

Please implement a "Copy EXIF" and "Paste EXIF" feature, so that the user can manually transfer EXIF header information from one picture to another. Use case 1: noise reduction via stacking. The user makes multiple photos of the same situation and loads them as a stack into Affinity Photo. Affinity Photos does the noise reduction. But after exporting the result, the final jpg has no EXIF information. The use can hence decide from which of the pictures he want to re-use the EXIF information and can paste it into the result. Use case 2: Export Persona: you may export multiple parts of the same image. However, they are all made at the same day, time, camera etc. In both use cases, the resulting pictures have no EXIF information. This feature universally helps to close this gap. Best regards BlauerClaus

I don't believe anyone has suggested this yet, but it would be fantastic if there were an option to export @2x and @3x assets in respectively labeled sub-folders. When dealing with a lot of images I generally try to keep retina assets organized for our developers for easier reference.

Using the export persona pretty heavily at the moment for a project. It'd be great to have sketch style export to multiple locations using groups in the slice list. Being able to define groups in this panel would be great to keep dozens of slices organised, being able to set things like export location and format by group would be killer. It'd also be great to be able to group objects from export persona too, when I'm doing a slice from layer, I currently have to which back to the default persona, group what I want to export together, then switch back to export. It could be faster. ..also I don't think the v keyboard shortcut works in export persona.

Hey there guys. I couldn't find a topic regarding this, I'll just try to describe what I am talking about. :) Not sure if this is a question or a feature request either. Lets say I have a few adjustment layers on top of several motives. I want to export every motive in a separate file with the adjustment layers on top. Like a series: motive_a.jpg, motive_b.jpg, motive_c.jpg, and so on. Right now I only can do this by toggling the motive layers on and off every time I want to export a different one. I’d like to assign what layers to export per slice. I'm aware of the feature to create a slice for exporting one specific layer even if other layers are turned on (so they’re kinda getting ignored), but I'm looking for something similar … like different slices for every motive plus the general adjustment layers. Like this: Slice 1: export layer 1 and adjustment A and B, but not layer 2,3 and 4 Slice 2: export layer 2 and adjustment A and B, but not layer 1,3 and 4 Slice 3: export layer 3 and adjustment A and B, but not layer 1,2 and 4 Slice 4: export layer 4 and adjustment A and B, but not layer 1,2 and 3 … Sorry if this sounds stupid, but does anyone understand what I’m talking about? :D It would make exporting much more efficient in situations like these or even more complex ones, I think. Like you configure it once and hit export all and don't have to change the visibility for every motive. I’ll attach an example file with named layers and slices … maybe that'll help understand what I'm talking about. Maybe there’s even a solution that I don't know yet. Would be handy in Affinity Designer as well as Affinity Photo. Example – Layer Selection Export.afphoto Greetings Dennis

Hi all, I try to export my art work, it's a button set that's 80x40 px. But every single time I export them with Export Persona, it always create 1 pixel more (81x41 px). Is any one know how to solve this problem? This is the artwork I want to export. (80x40 px) When using Export Persona. (81x41 px)

I'm trying to export an image and it says the resolution is too low even for 1x export, and it tells me to see the layers page. I then noticed that the background layer I'm using has a resolution of only 50dpi. If that's causing the problem, how do I remedy this? I tried exporting it without even the 1x box checked, and it did nothing (as I expected); When I try to export at 1x, it creates a .png file that has no image and seems to just increase in size indefinitely until I delete it. As you can imagine, not being able to export is a major inconvenience, and it threatens to put a lot of important things on hold. Does anyone know how to fix this or increase resolution or whatever needs to be done?

Hi there, Whenever I am in Export Persona and a want to export a different set of layers I have to switch back to Photo Persona, choose my layers (make what I want to be visible or not) and then switch again to Export Persona... Is there a quick way to do that? The Layers panel does not seem to be working as I need in Export Persona or I am doing something wrong? Thanks for any thought, Rodrigo.af

I'm asked to produce screenshots with the following naming convention: iphone_5.5_screen_1.jpg The dot in 5.5 seems to breaking the export. I get 'iphone_5.jpg' In a previous beta update it was stated that all characters were valid expect for / and : Is this an easy fix to allow the use of . ? Cheers

In Affinity Photo It would be nice to have an option to export to a particular size. (That could be saved as a preset, and set as a default) In particular an enriched drop down on the Export menu with a range of popular or custom sizes. I export to G+ photos and would like to keep below the 2048px limit. I am sure others have their favourite sizes. Many thanks, so far loving it all.

PNG-24 (with transparency) - currently there is no option to output without transparency. Some of my destinations (apple app store) can't take PNG-24 with an alpha channel. I currently have to use a photoshop batch to remove the (100% white) alpha channel. A checkbox to include alpha might be useful. btw - I can use j-peg instead in this instance but I prefer to use png - having greater control over what comes out of AD is always going to be a win.
