Hi, I already tried the beta version with same result. Every time I try to modify a smart object it keeps crashing. I think it should be related with prospective but im not sure. Unfortunately I cannot share anything as im working on a template I bought (PSD) and the work is full of customer images and logos. I know at this point is pretty useless this thread but maybe im not the only one having this issue? I did send several crash reports thru Apple if this can be usefull. thx in advance.

I was asked to create a sign to be used in an in vivo biology lab facility at a university. I used a combination of Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer on an iPad. The result was two slightly different versions. The idea, is to catch researcher's attention. Please provide feedback as to which version is better as a sign?

I've been working on an exhibit on the social mouvement in Belgium since the beginning of the industrial revolution.It's a long project started in september 2020, delayed many times due to the covid and finally released in june 2021. The content is partly inspired by a comic book I relaesed in january 2020 on the Belgian social security system history. Done on Adobe, and as so many people I just wanted to quit. So I finally played with Affinty on the hard side, directly on big size filed for final production. The stress was High, very high ! I messed up a little with Publisher but finally get my way through the learning curve and, oh boy, I loved the export persona option. It saved my day ! Here is the pictures off the exhibition in Dison, near Verviers, the drowned town in southern part of Belgium.

Using Affinity photo, I managed to turn a source image into an illustration using the G'MIC plugin and HDR merge functions. Used G'MIC Engrave and Autobalance, HDR Merge with dramatic tone map.

Hi. After some practice with Affinity I created my (almost) first artistic montage. I don't know what to think about it, I just can't watch on it as 3rd person, you know So here it is, I did my best to make it as real as possible. However, if it's crap, then tell me. I would really like to know how good it is, and I mean how convincing that deer over there seems to be. I would appreciate if you wuould note this like x/10. Thanks a lot ;).

Hello Wondering if anyone can help me solve this issue. Im a new user of Affinity photo but have used Photoshop for some years. After loading in a few images ( Canon Raw CR2 file) i noticed the quality ( sharpness) was markedly reduced from the original even before any editing had taken place, the image appeared soft. After editing and export (PSD bilinear) the image was further degraded. I carried out the same process in Photoshop it was clear to me that the Photoshop export was less effected than that from Affinity. In addition the export file from Affinity was at least twice as large as that from PS. I've attached photos comparing PSD outputs from PS vs( Affinity Screenshot 2) and the untouched image in Faststone image viewer vs Affinity (screenshot 1). These are screen captures from my Dell XPS 4k screen. In particular view the area around the eyes and hair. Hope someone can help. sophie

I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 980 installed with 64Gb of RAM. A day or two ago, I removed the EVGA GeForce 960 that I had connected to the 980 via SLI. I removed it because Bluestacks was blacking out the screen randomly with it installed. Before then, I was working happily on the provided file for hours on end. Today, the app freezes after only a handful of operations like picking a color from my swatch to apply to the eyes while zoomed in to around 100%. Aura Goldsmith 2.afphoto DxDiag.txt -

How copy for example R to G chabel etc in Affinity Photo desktop? i dont see menu selections what are earlier showed post in another thread (Sorry no link i tried found it again). Somehow when flatten project (I only added one these "colour brush strokes" what is available affinity page added. no avail but when flatten docuemnt i found them but i still can move tihs image element same thing for vector elements what i draw using program tools. earlier all goed single bitmap layer. Flatten seems work different way what done earlier. is mean work like this. of course i can keep such flatten such non moveable from using lock layers panel but. -

All fonts in the family Rubik from Google Fonts are showing as Rubik Light in Photo and Designer. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the font, also Photo and Designer, there was no change. I read that ufont has crappy quality and likely old fonts that are not updated to work well, are Google Fonts just as bad? Is there any way I can make this font work correctly without buying software?

I'd like to suggest the option to disable align merge sources for the Focus Merge tool. Some modern cameras, such as the Fujifilm X-T4, have in-camera focus bracketing and all my images come out aligned (unless, of course, some outside force moves the camera or subject). I primarily use Helicon Focus and when I have align sources enabled then it, too, takes a very long time. Affinity Photo is taking somewhere between 25-30 minutes for 73 photos. This is rather long considering some stacks are close to 200 images. Helicon Focus was able to stack the same images in about 5 minutes. I understand that Affinity Photo isn't primarily an image stacking application, as is Helicon Focus, but 20-30 minutes is a bit too long and, I feel, the aligning of the photos is partly to blame. -
Don't know why, but as soon as he realizes that you are looking at him through the camera lens he gets upset. Sometimes he'll run away, other times he tells me what his opinion is with his eyes. He's even been known to get that Mckayla Maroni doesn't approve look. Just a couple of pics I dug up off my card in the last week. Not you again? Not impressed!

I'm having odd behaviour with an image I've treated and exported from Affinity Photo. When I upload the image inline to an email it looks as it should (the colours are as I intended and as they are in Windows 10 Photo app), but if I upload it as a file attachment, or send it from the Windows file menu to Telegram, the colours appear to have been desaturated and possibly the tint moved towards green. The first file I have uploaded here has also been altered during uploading. The second image is a screenshot of the same image file previously uploaded inline in an email. The colour alteration is obvious. This effect is not happening to other images previously processed through AP. Any Ideas?
