Fantastic software!!! Please make another application for windows etc. Make an adobe premiere alternative… I have switched over to everything of yours. Tired of adobe price bullying. I used adobe for 20+ years and now you are my go to apps. I still need a video editor along with , I bet, many other people… Thank you Nelson

I would love it if you would create a Video Editing Software like premier (but better obviously) As a college student I have two choices pay the expensive price of £16 a month for Adobe's okay software or get it offline illegally and unsafe. I have already Purchased Affinity Photo, am about to Purchase Affinity Designer but would absolutely love it if there was a affinity video editor for my media. I know this might not be your kinda thing but it would be so great and I know so many people would rather use this than adobe. You're ahead of them, keep it up.

A really like the Affinity products and there are many opportunities to expand what we can do with it and one of those improvements is to be able to use native files on video edition software like Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve. For example, it will be great if we can enable or disable certain layers based on the timeline, showing a transition between keyframes. Another approach could be to have an extra persona to animate the file between keyframes, with the possibility to export the file in different movie formats or as an animated gifs.

Hello, Maybe this topic was already discussed but since few weeks I'm thinking that an Affinity application for video editing would be a great idea, something like Adobe Premier... It's in the pipe ?

Is Affinity (Serif) thinking about video editing? I can't imagine this is a new request, though search hasn't turned up any results. I was just watching the Live video again (Affinity Live: 19 June 2019 (serif.com)) and couldn't help but notice all the transitions and zooming in/out, which I imagine they made with Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro. I understand each product -- Designer, Photo, Publisher -- has outstanding bugs and feature requests, but it would be nice to forego all these other price-gouging A-named companies and put full stock in Serif. Serif once had MoviePlus. They were on the scene, though lacked some of the UI/UX elements that the Affinity suite has captured. I hope Serif returns to the (more difficult?) video arena. I imagine if executed well there is more potential to make money in add-ons and training than the other software products. Praise Serif's rebranding and relaunching of its traditional product lines has been something I've championed to friends & family ever since I first learned and purchased it back in 2014. I wasn't at all surprised when it won the Apple Design Award in 2015 and since then I've bought multiple licenses (through Apple's app store and through Affinity's site) for many OS platforms, even duplicate licenses for the same platform. I have advocated to use Affinity for work and production environments -- we're not a design studio -- though I would like the licensing process to be smoother. Needless to say, I'm all for giving money back to a team that has "nailed it" and rightly deserves to profit, especially when that probably means standing firm against potential Adobe/Sony buyout offers. In my experience, Movavi really stands out for its straightforward and intuitive approach to video editing, which was a big relief after years of navigating Adobe's more complex interface. Personally, I've found that Movavi's ability to easily edit and enhance MP4 videos is a huge plus. Adding transitions, titles, and filters is a breeze and really elevates the quality of my projects. The features I've appreciated the most are the video stabilization and the sound equalization options. They've been crucial in polishing my videos to a professional standard. This switch was mainly influenced by an article I found about the 11 Best Free MP4 Editors in 2023. It provided a great overview and helped me in choosing Movavi. Here's the link for your reference and to explore more: https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/best-free-mp4-editors.html.

I would love to see your team develop video editing and publishing capabilities to the already amazing Affinity products lineup. I would be the fist in line for that at any price. I can imagine the day! I bought Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher for both my Mac and Win10 machine. I love them. They are actually more powerful than ALL the others out there. (I used to be an adobe guy.) Thank you. Member of the Affinity Revolution, Chris Muzzey

I was just wondering if Affinity might ever add a video editor to their suite of software. Any thoughts on that?

Do you have any plan of motion/video application? There is a timeline animation function in PS, but it doesn't fit my workflow, and I don't want this function in Affinity Designer as well. I want a motion/video application that follows affinity operation logic. (You are the game changer!) I'm really looking forward alternative of AE. Wish you could consider developing this new product in the future. 😃

As i have the latest edition of Affinity photo , i was wondering as to when there will be a programme to edit video ?? Thanks !!

I would LOVE to see Affinity put out an Adobe Premier competitor. Called Affinity Video maybe? I don't need all the professional level controls that Premier has but something better than iMovie would be a great addition to the Affinity Suite. Thanks for everything so far, I own all three products and love them! -- Dan

It would be really grt to have a Affinity Video Editor.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but is there ever going to be a video compositing/animation program that would be a competitor to the likes of After Effects and Animate from Adobe? I know there is currently no plan for a Premiere Pro competitor, but what about After Effects and/or Animate? I know that motion graphics would be easier if I didn't have to subscribe to Adobe After Effects or Animate, especially since the competitor could have integration with the rest of the Affinity suite, meaning you could easily bring your vector work from Affinity Designer. I am new to Graphic Design, and would like to get into Motion Graphics and Animation, but the price tag of Adobe is a significant barrier.

I love Affinity photo and am going to get publisher soon, do you think their will be a professional video editor coming out? would love to see it.

Please add a playback speed selection to the video tutorials and make it easier to go to the next tutorial, when one is finished. Or mirror them in a youtube playlist.

Another thing I was wondering...can you do any type of animations in Affinity aa of now? Like you can with Adobe. And if not, do you guys think this may be something they do in the future? With the steady climb in popularity of video and animation, I think it would be really cool if Affinity did implant that in some way. Either added with Designer or even a new app similar to After Effects would be cool. I'm still going to use Designer and Photo but I'm really trying to eliminate any need to have to use Adobe ever again and be locked into their contracts. I was just curious. Thank you in advance!

You guys need to make a video editor.

Affinity has been extremely forward thinking with their Photo and Designer.... I prefer the speed and ease of use over Photoshop and Illustrator. I have become aware that Affinity will be coming out with Affinity Publisher soon which is also exciting. But if Affinity can produce a video editing software that has the same speed and ease of use as their other products, I would be extremely excited. There are practical things I think Affinity would implement in their video editing package that the other big name brands (Final Cut Pro, Premiere) would not conceptualize. And the same would be true if Affinity made a compositing software. So please please make a video editing package and compositing package that gives me an excuse to stop using Premiere and After Effects! With all of these apps combined... not only would Affinity become a Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign killer..... but a Creative Cloud killer in general!

I know your last video editor was not your most beloved piece of software but I think Affinity Video would be a great hit if you went at it with the same principles as the existing programs.
