  1. IT been awhile sinceI posted something here. I have been crazy busy! I been using Affinity Designer on everything I can. I got three digital billboard designs I created that will be displayed in two major NY locations. Right now I am working on a simple illustration. This is my first round so feel free to comment critique or whatever. Everything was done in Affinity Designer.
  2. I Just ordered my stickers! I am long time fan and supporter everything eejits!
  3. I raise my hand for supporting this feature! This is a technique that season veterans use very regular. This technique is used heavily in compositing and is at the core of many workflows. -Ronnie
  4. Well, I did make that brush some time ago. I just re-exported this brush. try reimporting this one and see if this one works. here is a new link: Click to download
  5. Hello Rosa Hmm, let me see. in the Brush Palette there a drop down, click on the drop down and set it to Ronnie Gradient brush. MY brush should be in the list. Are you not seeing it there in the palette brush list at all?
  6. OMG Peter that was one of my favorite games growing up! I had the pleasure worked for an agency that worked on some of their early ad campaigns back in the early 2000s. I was so lucky to get a copy of a media package that contained a VHS talking about the art and development of the company and a complete book that contained all the art created for the game. Also, I recently came across a copy of the game that was being sold for the first Xbox game console which I still have so I had to buy it lol. I love the social political spin they had on that game!
  7. Just doodling with the Typography Tools and a little Texturing effect in Affinity Designer.
  8. Great trick! I have to try this out! Thanks!
  9. Thank you! As I love your work as well. I believe you are the one who did the Rhino Island composite. Really great work man, I actually made it my desktop background.
  10. jaw-dropping attention to detail! You bring new meaning to the phrase"I see the light"

  12. I get a few questions asked of me every week and some of them are repetitive so you can read my response here: http://mixmediasalad.com/?p=1821 Please take a moment to read if you have any questions after feel free to message me here. Cheers!
  13. You are welcome. Yes, The high-Frequency layer contains the texture the Low-frequency layer contains the color information. Thanks for watching! Cheers, Ronnie

  15. here a little update. So if you remember this logo illustration and motion animation I did a while back for Brother International. Well they loved the graphic so much they now have printed the logo I refreshed and now place it on all their new garment printing machines of this year. I supplied them with an eps file straight from Affinity Designer. you can view they also, have included an altered version of the bumper animation I created for them to the end of their new videos on youtube. Check out the video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN9-FXQRNKc the sticker can be viewed at the 42-second mark! So, don't let anyone tell you can't do professional work with Affinity Designer! It is a great app and getting even better every day!
  16. Thank You so much, Mireille! I am glad to hear you are getting a lot out of my course. I created this course in hopes that It would help people come to grips with he amazing application. I really am glad to hear that even though you have not completed the project you are still learned a lot, that to me is the most important! I don't care if my students can replicate the projects or not I just want them grasp the concepts and apply them to their own interests or style of work. I am very glad to hear you like the pacing and explanations! I have over 400 students taking my course and I am starting to recognize the students who are most active in my course and engage me and ask questions. Being able to ask questions and get answers is another plus about the Udemy platform as opposed to Lynda.com. I believe a few weeks ago you asked a question about joining lines. Is that right Mirelle? Unlike other online courses, you actually get student/teacher engagement with my course. I answer every question posted. I have a no creative left behind policy! Also, at times I find other students answer questions that have been posted. Unlike other online platforms, there is an opportunity to really connect share and make new relationships and contacts through a common interest. Thank you for your support! Ronnie
