Just tried it on my Win 10 with 5-6 Mb pictures and I never had crash.

You can do all this with Affinity Designer without problerm.

When you create a new document there is the option "Image Placement Policy" where you can select "Prefer Embedded" or "Prefer Linked".

I never used Remask, but all my other Topaz plugins have always work.

Same here, Photo and Designer on iPad 2018 and Apple pencil. Everything works perfectly, selection, liquify and other filters work fine. It's a little weird to read such a post from a new member submitting it's first post, complaining about things we never heard of..... maybe he is from the "dark side".....

You cannot use Affinity Photo without it ????

Bonjour Framon, j'ai répété les mêmes opérations que vous décrivez avec différents fichiers PDF et je n'ai aucun problème. Le problème découle sans doute d'une erreur d'accès au disque ou fichiers. Hi Framon, I did the exact same steps that you describe, using different PDF files, and I don't have any problem opening and saving them. The problem looks more as a file or disk acces than a bug in Publisher.

Beta with beta and release with release. The beta of Designer will open the beta version of Photo (1.7), same for the release versions (1.6), Designer will open the release version of Photo. All are the most recent versions.

Both apps have been run many many times for many hours... This is with the beta versions. With regular versions Photo does close normally, but the file in Designer is gone.

Both apps started with "Ctrl" and cleared everything, same problem. Task Manager is the only way to exit.

I just tried it as I didn't know it could be done in the beta version. I created a new document in Designer, placed a jpg image on the page and selected "Edit in Photo". Photo started and opened the document. But then..... The document disapears from Designer and after editing, export or not, I can't close Photo as it always display the following: "At least one file is currently being opened. Please wait for files to load before quitting the application." From then on I only can escape this by closing Photo with Tasdk Manager.

View- Studio - Text frame From there you can select any color for the selected text frame.

Let's not forget that this is a "Beta" version, that means bugs and incomplete or missing features. It should not be compared right now to software 20 years old or more. But...let's hope....

"Color format" has disappeared in beta .188 from the "Document" menu . If it's been moved somewhere else I can't find it.
