Hi Arne,
Looks good.
I lived and worked in Hawaii and the only Toucans there are in the https://www.honoluluzoo.org/animals/toco-toucan/#1554430828602-0bbd8c86-9a4d.
You might think about "Brazilian" shirts
Thanks Fred, I've never been to Hawaii… I'll change the Tucan for another bird.

Hi there,
I love Hawaiian Shirts and tropical und floral patterns. It's not that perfect and just »work in progress «– but I like it. Some shadows have to be refined and some textures may be added. No Stock-Pictures are used and lots of hours were spent to draw all parts of it.
I don't know what to do with it. In my dreams it becomes a shirt. What do you think?
Ciao,
Arne

Does it work with spot colours, too?

Thank you all! 42 will help in any case!

But in my example are more than one red node … should that be fixed?

Unfortunately, no
Is a PDF that I have open and import into Pub... where all the black text is become in 4 color when I need only 100K
I think that the only way to do it is to change the colour manually.

Very good question. Do you use Text-Styles?

Size to fit is implemented, but with a little pitfall. Double-click the bottom centre handle of the text frame and the height fits to the content. I would recommend to do this first. So now for the pitfall: If you double-click the right centre handle of the text frame the width fits to the content, but APublisher tries to completely fill the text frame evenly, so words may jump to the next line.
I recommended to fit to the height first, because if you do this in the second step, APublisher tries to fill the height evenly.
If there is overflowing text, the size is not adapted to the complete content. There are no problems if the text frame contain only a single word (of course).
HTH
Sadly this only works to shrink a text frame and not to expand it. And it's not possible to select more than one frame to do this. It would be nice to select several text frames to fit to content by a short cut.

Thank you for the reply, I tested this now with a new document. I added a new Pantone colour. It still does not show the name/value of the Pantone colour when I hover over the swatch.
Same here … I read the manual and the discribed workflow doesn't work. The list with the values is not shown, when it should.

And in general: Excuse my poor English … it's difficult to discribe things in a foreign language.

@dutchshader THAT ist exactly what I was searching for. I tried this before, but just with exisiting layers …
Why does this work only für new layers?
Thx so much!

Thx thomaso ... but this ist not what I meant – this is a kind of workaround. I don't want to change selection colors OS-wide. I want to set colors individually depending on document contents.
-
Same here … same in Publisher, right?
It's necessary to be able to change selection colors for every single layer.
-
Same here … is it not possible to put more than two facing pages together?

I really need envelope distortion or something like that – perspective transformations is also necessary for me. I love you guys and please carry on doing this good job! Thank you!

Thank you very much … I'm lookin' so much forward to erase Adobe from my harddisk!
Because I love Hawaiian Shirts
