Hi hilltop,
as MikeTO mentioned, if you could send a crash report and document to this (private) dropbox link we can take a look:

Hi B7design,
It's highly likely that this is far beyond your iPads capabilities.
The document you are trying to export is approximately 836 megapixels and would require a huge amount of memory.
I would advise looking at reducing your DPI, as there are very few circumstances where this level of detail is required for something so large.
72 dpi which would look fine from anything beyond a 2m viewing distance for example would bring this to under 50mp.

As this is occurring with your cloud connected apps, sign out of all cloud based services and then launch the aps (possibly after another full restart).
As a general rule @Paul Mudditt I would not advise a hard reset of any iOS device unless it is unresponsive, as there is no system reset that takes place during this. It's just a forced power off and can actually damage files in the operating system which can only be resolved by restoring the device. A regular restart will achieve the same thing without this risk.

Hi dsbarina,
Obviously it's not an issue isolated to Affinity software so our support on this will be a little bit limited, but my suggestion first of all would be to examine the free space on your iPad, with so many different apps that may want to download and use your free space it may be that though it's showing, it may be reserved for other applications. (for example, your photo library could be downloading a stack of images in the background without you knowing).
Firstly back up any and all important information before making any changes. Then free up as much space as you can, followed by a restart of the iPad. I would then advise removing all creative apps in one go, then installing ours one at a time, checking they work as you go.

Hi b7design,
What is the DPI of the document, and how many layers does it have?

Hi Checkmate,
Thanks for the information, i've logged this as a bug for the devs to take a look at.

Hi mchansy,
Glad this is working for you again.
This error is caused by a mismatch/incompatibility with OpenCL and your video card driver, if you require/prefer OpenCL to be enabled, you could try experimenting with newer/older/alternative driver versions. Do you happen to be using nVidia's studio drivers?

Hi David,
The people above are taking the time out of their day to assist, so it's best to be polite, even if in your case their advice has not been the solution to your issue.
In your case it looks like the only approach is to contact Apple support as we have no access to any of this information.

Hi @hkartte,
Could you try making the file available offline in your Google Drive application before importing them, or moving them to a local drive.

Hi @Bit Disappointed, @kartoffeltree,
Thanks for this information, it's now been logged as a bug.

Hi Bit Dissapointed,
Can I confirm the window is being resized and not just repositioned? I'm only able to recreate this when the window has just been moved and not resized Which is normal behaviour for Mac OS windows across the board.

Hi HumanByDesign,
Are you able to replicate this without hardware acceleration enabled in your applications settings (top menu Affinity Photo > Settings > Performance), also perhaps without your eGPU.

Hi blackxacto,
Close the Photo fully, and hold control whilst loading it again.
On the window that appears, look down the list and enable "Reset content migration prompt".
Then hit "clear" at the bottom.
When the Photo finishes loading, you should be prompted to import your data from v1.

Hi Dragonmun,
This is expected behaviour due to the way that text on curve layers are stored in PSD's.

Hi Mike, Walt.
Just an update on this one, i've checked with the devs and they've confirmed this is correct behaviour due to the availability of the original image.

Hi Brian,
Apologies for the delay getting back to you.
Unfortunately we're unable to recreate these crashes on Win 10 or 11. Could you please test the file whilst disabling FileZilla FTP, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Adobe CoreSync? There's a possibility one of these may be causing issues.

Hi CJP001,
Set up your macro as follows:
1- Document resize - change DPI/resample off
2- Document resize - W*.2 + H*.2
