Thanks Walt! Done & fixed! I couldn’t remember how to access and change the section details, hopefully next time I will 😊.

acajohn29 got a reaction from Callum in Full pages/chapters disappeared after converting from facing pages to single page
Thanks Old Bruce and Mike.
I did what you suggested, Old Bruce, (didn't really understand the difference between a "Pages" document versus an "All Pages" document, but when I exported as "All Pages" all the pages were indeed visible and the document is not rendered as facing pages, so I believe it will not be rejected when I try to print it. I will make the fixes you suggest manually, too, Mike.
You've both brightened my mood and my day, thank you very much!
Don't "convert", export a facing pages document to a Pages, not Spreads, PDF file.
If you still have a Facing Pages document when you export it choose All Pages instead of the Default Spreads.

acajohn29 got a reaction from Brian_J in Change text box background color
Got it! Thank you so much, Brian J. And I appreciate the encouragement, too.
And fyi it just popped up in the middle of my screen, possibly because I wasn't actually working with a text frame at the moment.(?)

acajohn29 got a reaction from Bruce.Dickson in PUBLISHER: Best practices for book layout?
I would also like to know how to delete specific pages one page at a time. I just spent about two months transferring my 200 page book completely from InDesign and now that this is happening it reminded me that this is EXACTLY why I transferred it to begin with! If deleting pages completely disables page numbering, that is really a shame. It took me a long time to get my page numbering the way I wanted it. If it is actually possible to delete pages and maintain overall layout, please tell me how.
Thank you,
John

The tutorial doesn't say you must create an image placeholder before opening the template image, once I did that it worked.
Thanks again,
John

Walt, I used pdf files.
jmwellborn, thanks for the tip, I'll watch for that. 🙂

Yes! Thanks once more to R C-R and Walt for your kind assistance. I exported the file from Indesign as an IDML file and when I justified left in Affinity it did exactly what I needed it to. I'm canceling my InDesign account and buying Affinity!
Peace
