  1. As far as I knew, I *didn't* uninstall the purchased version. I must've overwritten it in the purchased folder. :( Thanks for the information - I'm going to have to wait for our IT person to come back in to reinstall it. It's a relief that I can get it back!
  2. Go to the Snapping menu (magnet) ... Uncheck the box that says "Show snapping candidates."
  3. Hi! We purchased a copy of Affinity Photo for Windows and I've been using it happily until recently. I received notice that there was a new version available and I went ahead and installed it. It turned out to be the Beta. Now, the Beta has expired and I no longer have access to our purchased copy. Help! Thanks, Dave
  4. Hi! I'd love to see a Gaussian Blur tool that acted similarly to the Transparency or Gradient tools ... You could have the blur get progressively heavier as you dragged the mouse pointer towards the edge of the object. Having the ability to have a "blur gradient" could make for some awesome effects! Does anyone know of a way to duplicate this effect without the Affinity folks having to come up with a new widget tool?
  5. Don't worry about your English - I can't write in any other languages! :) As to your suggestion, from what I can gather you're talking about how the Font Selection doesn't remember where you were last selecting from the list. You'd like it to keep track, so you don't have to keep starting at the top of the list each time. I'd like to throw in my support for this, too!
  6. From the sounds of crickets from this post, I've either asked for something that's already an option that I've missed, or it's a silly request. If it's the former, could some kind soul let me know where the setting is located? Thanks! :)
  7. When you go to export an artboard, it would be great if the export filename was based off of the named artboard, instead of the overall project filename. For example, I have a file called "fred.afdesign" with artboards "art1," "joe," and "ralph." I want to export artboard "art1." When the file dialog comes up, instead of defaulting to "fred," I'd like it to be "art1." Great programs!!!
  8. Sorry, I wasn't clear (my fault!) I meant for Affinity to come up with their own ZBrush-equivalent software, that's a standalone product.
  9. I'll stick in my two cents worth, too. You people ROCK! I've never seen such a dedicated, hard-working & talented group of programmers. The speed with which you add features and fix bugs is nothing short of phenomenal. Other software companies should not only be taking notes, certain ones should be shaking in their corporate boots :)
  10. I'm also not seeing the Mode dropdown when I have the Crop tool selected. Windows, full-version.
  11. Hi! Just got done drooling over a couple of videos of ZBrush in action and thought, "An Affinity version would be fantastic!" Get right on that, would you please? I can wait. ;) (ducking and running for cover)
  12. Hi! Apologies if this has already been requested or discussed. I'd love to see Designer allow you to define a curve or path and then have a gradient applied to it, so that the gradient matches the curve from start to finish. Thanks!
  13. It'd be great if we could save the settings for a document size and name it what we wanted. For example: Facebook Cover 72dpi 851px 315px etc. If this is already a feature and I'm just missing it, cool - could some kind soul point out to me how to do this? Thanks! :)
  14. I either did a bad job of explaining it or it's a bad idea! :) Ok, here goes: Say I have an object, like a rectangle. It's on the top-most layer. What I'm picturing is a tool similar to the gradient, where I can select the starting layer and the ending layer, where the layer depth of each portion of the object can be controlled. This might allow funky effects like weaves, ribbons, etc. Hope that makes a little more sense... if not, I'll chalk it up to a poor concept and call it a day! :)
  15. Ok, bear with me & feel free to shoot this down as unneeded. What if we could specify a starting layer and an ending layer for an object, with adjustable sliders for which parts/percentage of the object were changing layer level? Something akin to the gradient tool, only for "depthiness" :)
  16. Very nice - thank you for posting this!
  17. Thanks! I'm obviously a neophyte at this, but I'm enjoying learning everything I can as I go along and experiment.
  18. Here's my first attempt at playing with layers and filters.
  19. Very nice - I really like the colors.
  20. This is embarrassing to admit, but... I can't get the second issue to download to my iPad, either iBook or PDF formats. Has anyone else experienced the same problems?
