iMatt
What is the best way to skew a shape in Affinity Designer?
PixelPest
Just in the case you really want to skew and not a perspective distortion it´s quite easy. Wait for the cursor to change to skew mode - then click and drag: GaryLearnTech and DEWLine 1

Alfred
There’s also a numerical skew/shear control in the Transform panel, but it only allows you to specify horizontal shear. If you want vertical shear you need to apply horizontal shear and adjust the rotation to suit. Pšenda
This is a bug in Help, which in some cases provides an incorrect link. If you mean a bug in the online Help, you need to make sure you copy the link from the search results, not from the browser's location bar. The location bar does not change when clicking on the search results, in my experience.
