Larsene Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Exporting a document with custom line stroke doesn't look good, as a fine line is visible to screen and print (take a look at the attached picture). No problem exporting the document to an image format.
Chris_K Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Hi Larsene I've tried with a custom brush I've made similar to yours but it is exporting fine. Would you be able to attach the file or the brush used on the line for me to try? Thanks Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
Larsene Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 (edited) Sure, here is the file. Could you delete it once you get it ? Thanks ! Edited November 23, 2018 by AdamW Requested file delete
PaulEC Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I think this must be a bug. I've reproduced the problem in another document. You can get rid of the line between the dots by setting the fill colour to transparent (rather than the same colour as the line). The fine line also disappears if you rasterize the layer. Larsene Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 Hi PaulEC, I didn't think about that ! It seems to work, thanks !
Staff AdamW Posted November 23, 2018 Staff Posted November 23, 2018 Thanks. As already suggested, it is the fill being drawn. I have logged it and deleted your original file. Dotted Line.afpub
