wobmann
When I export a document with black text as a print PDF, the text in the PDF is built in 4-color (cmyk). For printed products, it is important that black text be printed in black (k) only. Przemysław and Rich313 2 www.wobmann.com

MikeW
Did you use the black swatch? If so, try selecting the text again, open the same color panel you have open in your screen shot, slide the K slider down a ways and then back to 100%. Then do another export and check it in Acrobat. TomGerritzen
When exporting to PDF/X-4 black remains black. That is: C0M0Y0K100 doesn't get converted to a mix of all colours. Maybe this is what the PDF standards actually require an application to do?
