A Colour Calculator sure would be nice, like this one ...

Paletton was mentioned in another recent thread. One of its nice features is that you can choose to simulate the effects of different kinds of colour blindness.

 

The other tool that I use frequently is the 'instant answer' colour picker in DuckDuckGo. If I search for colour picker #BADA55 I get an HSL box with controls to change the H value or the S and L values, and by default I get a display of analogous colours on the right-hand side; there is a dropdown list for selecting triadic or tetradic colours instead.

It lets you pick a base color and then calculates the Complementary, Monochromatic, Analogous, Split Complementary, Triadic, Tetradic colors ...

this is actually already available

Tones

 

The 'UI' is quite crude though
