Thank you! :-) Love doing these acanthus scrollwork, mostly for designing metal engraving motifs, but I also like to try these vintage motifs/poster or maybe it will become a glass gilded piece.. :-)

anywat, I see I was a little carried away yesterday, and I think this looks better flat, so I worked a little more on it.. just to try to learn :-)

Also played a little with masking layers :-)

Great work! I am just getting started and I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like this.

Thank you! I have always wondered what this type of scroll was called.

Is the scroll work vector and how did you make it?

In the two first pictures, the scrolls is not vector, but made a new vector layer, and drawing all the outlines in this moment.. will post some pictures later.

At the pictures above, all the scrollwork is hand drawn in Procreate. :-)

Ill try to post some pictures and video later :-)

And suddenly all the outlining are vectorized.. :-) Just testing with some different styles.. we’ll see where it ends..

after some adjustments of the scrolls, I’ll do the shadowing in vector too :-)

fun fun fun :-)

Great work. I've spent many many hours making vector Acanthus, and it was some of the 1st things I did when I started w. Designer. I appreciate how you show the development of the work into complete vector. Affinity's line pressure for strokes makes many lines so easy.

Thanks a lot, I’m a total amateur, but glad I could help a little :-)
