Russ2
How to set the Black and white points in AP? In Lightroom I hold down the Alt key to get the black/white screen then alter either black or white points. Thankyou. Russ.

If you hold down the Alt key and drag on a slider, you get a display that shows clipping. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions. Maze400
Thanks Russ but while this will work, I was referring to the process of sampling the darkest and lightest points with the dropper tool to set the levels. This is the workaround loukash

henryg
And why be so stubborn and not give users what they want, even if Serif disagree in principle. Of course, there is a colour picker in the White Balance adjustment, but IMO it is not a patch on the Photoshop alternative.

And it's even worse, if you have multiple options (or you can't decide easily) for finding the correct spot picking the mid tones. In Photoshop, you just need one click per try. With this workaround, you'd have to go through all the curves manipulation process for mids for each try... Quote »A designer's job is to improve the general quality of life. John NX
I'm thought I found a blackpoint and whitepoint the other day - I've convinced myself I did anyway! But I can't find it now.
