ꜱᴩʀɪᴛᴇ➀ Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Hi, I know this is probably out of scope for this forum but I thought I might as well ask. Do you have suggestions/tips when converting web design from Affinity Designer to actual website? What tools do you use what's the easiest route to doing it, etc? Quote
firstdefence Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Hi @sprite~1 There are quite a few apps around that will do what you need, a start would be to give some more info or add these details in a signature within your account settings so people don't have to ask over and over. So, things like Operating System(OS) etc helps so people can point you to apps compatible with your OS, System spec, so people can troubleshoot system issues, what affinity apps you have and maybe their version numbers. see my sig below this post for an idea. if you start a new post maybe put ADe for designer, APh for Photo at the start of the title e.g "(ADe) I have a pen tool issue" Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... I always keep my software up-to-date. Quote

That's much better, take a look at this app RocketCave another one is Blue Griffon and also CoffeeCups HTML Editor As Friskel said it will never hurt to understand HTML and CSS and will make troubleshooting a lot easier. I suppose it's what you actually want to do, what websites you want to create, be it a simple flyer site (one or two pages with contact details), a blog, a selling site, a promo site or anything in-between. ꜱᴩʀɪᴛᴇ➀ Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 Thanks @firstdefence, I actually understand HTML and CSS but I wanted something that makes the process faster so I can allot more time to Affinity Designer instead. Also I love how BlueGriffon looks, it's akin to the Affinity products. firstdefence 1 Quote
Staff MEB Posted April 10, 2018 Staff Posted April 10, 2018 Hi sprite~1, Other than setting up slices to quickly export (and generate 2x assets if required) of your design there's isn't much more you can do to speed up the process in Designer. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
myclay Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 So far I use a couple programs from Coffeecup,https://www.coffeecup.com/ Responsive Site Designer for example has support for; Bootstrap 3 (and 4 alpha) Foundation 6 (once RSD-V3 is released?) CSS Grid Additional image compression tools for your Affinity Photo/Designer output are recommended.
