Maxxxworld Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Dear Admins, Is there a way to share the search for MAC or WIN relevant results? E.g. press the Button Unread Content for MAC Quote MacBook Pro, iMac, Sierra 10.12.6 500px.com/maxxxworld www.instagram.com/markus_linner
Staff Lee D Posted March 1, 2018 Staff Posted March 1, 2018 At some point we may add tags for Mac and Windows for each post, at this point you would be able to narrow down the search. Maxxxworld 1 Quote

E.g. press the Button Unread Content for MAC The thing is, apart from a few OS specific thing (like separated mode or display settings) the same issues affect both Mac and PC users. So if you have a user problem, the solution might well be found on a PC user post. Why would you want to limit yourself to Mac only answers. Snob Quote Windows PCs. Considering that there are nearly 20,000 topics in Questions now & that number will only grow, & that many of them never give any indication if the topic is about an issue specific to Macs or Windows PCs (because most of them are not), that sounds like a nearly impossible task, something you might assign to a new employee as a prank (like rewinding a library of DVDs). firstdefence Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 @Pšenda I get what you're saying and I find it a bit annoying when people don't put the Operating System they are using but I can see how it would relate to Windows and Mac but I think it's just nice to know where the user is coming from if the issue or diagnostics are external to the App in which case it becomes an important bit of information. It's the same with whether its Affinity Designer (ADe) or Affinity Photo (APh), while a lot of the trouble can be intertransferabubbly interpreted some are specific, so to have a tag that relates to the product and OS is more courtesy than anything else and stops having to ask a repeated question, all this for 2 or 3 check boxes on a post creation.
