Raskolnikov
What about being able to preset default folders for opening/saving files ...and to create templates that could be set for default new projects? it's a good timesaver :) CartoonMike and GRScott
Figmatt
@Andrew Tang: awesome, thanks! @Raskolnikov: templates is easy by just managing a folder of files yourself. Default folder behaviour is a system wide behaviour, it will default to the last folders used. Raskolnikov

rui_mac
I know that being able to create real Template files is nice. But you can already do that for any type of file. Just select the file in the Finder, press Command+I (Get Info) and check the Stationary Pad option. From now on, two clicks on that file will automatically create a copy of that file and open the copy, ready for editing. This way, the original file will never get overwritten. How about double clicking the file you want to open? It will launch Affinity Designer with that file open.

If you have turned the feature on in OSX Preferences (General -> Close windows when quitting an app unchecked) then it will automatically restore all previous opened documents. Raskolnikov
It isn't what I exactly mean, I would like that AD would run a certain template (dimensions of canvas, resolution, guides, presets, colour palette,...) automatically when opening the program. It's just a timesaver.
rui_mac
Being able to create custom presets and being able to save them as templates that would appear in a Presets list in the New dialog would be nice.Would this be good enough, Raskolnikov?
