chrono1081
Hi Affinity, I just wanted to add a request for procedural generators like the kind you find in Photoshop or Pixelmator. Clouds, Fibers, Stained Glass, etc. Those are incredibly useful for texturing work especially when they're customizable. (Changing cell thickness for example.) Here is an example of why they're so useful. Below is a picture of artist Richard Yot using Photoshops Stained Glass filter in combination with its displace filter to create a procedural leather texture for a 3D software package. Fixx
Would not this be better as a plugin? (BTW, does Filter Forge plugin work in AP?)
Herbert123
Filter Forge is a great plugin (I use it myself), but Chrono is correct: having access to a couple of procedural texture generators, even basic ones, is an incredibly worthwhile and useful addition for all sorts of work and these procedural textures often serve as a base for a multitude of effects and compositing work. Here is an example of a built-in procedural texture editor for inspiration. Clouds and basic noise generators are just the start. These could also be tremendously useful for Designer. The point is that these would be infinitely adjustable and applicable as live effects as well. Fixx

Ironically I bought Affinity Photo as I'm also doing the Richard Yot tutorial and need the stained glass filter. I can't afford Photoshop. Bit disappointed as I've got Serif Photoplus X6 and this has a stained glass filter although the result isn't quite the same as Photoshop. pixelrain
I would also welcome some procedural texture / pattern generator they would be very useful for texture work. Frank Jonen
Here's hoping for a Substance Plug-in that translates what can be translated to Affinity native features and have the rest covered with custom controls.
RocketPoweredTennisBall
Also being able to do this with any image would be really cool. Maybe like a modified version of the inpainting brush tool algorithm.
- S -
Yeah, I welcome this too. Along with the ability to add more randomness to the 'Perlin Noise' filter (like the 'Difference Clouds' filter).

Thanks for your answer Alfred! Do you know if this button appears in iPhone’s Safari? I can’t find it here. Edit: I found it now, it is on the very bottom.
