Ron P. Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 It was reported in the V2 Bug Forum, and could not be replicated using AD V2. However I tested this with the AD V2 Beta, and discovered it does happen in it. This is not unique to the Beta, it is replicable in the Designer v2.5.5 retail version though less easily than in Publisher or Publisher's Designer Persona... For me, on Windows, in Designer it's almost impossible not to replicate the issue in v2.5.5 (Retail and Beta which are now effectively the same version)... The Mac behaviour is slightly different but effectively the same bug... Does this mean that when selecting the locked object and then Shift selecting the unlocked object the unlocked object is automatically selected for you? And Lock means that you cannot select the object from the workspace (only from the Layers panel or menu), and you cannot move it using the mouse and workspace unless you've selected it in the Layers panel. In Affinity apps, it does not mean "unchangeable". It means only what Serif has documented it to mean.
