jomaro
It's time to have a proper video editing software from Affinity. I love everything this company make and I would love to have a video editing software from Affinity. I am a professional video editor with more than 20 years of experience and I am tired of the old Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere. Please make this happen. Ok, I am sure they will be right on it. Is it ok if it is out by end of the month or do you need it sooner? In all seriousness, what are you lacking from other video editors out there that you need Affinity for? Not like there is a shortage of editors. Drawing in Affinity Designer and then editing in Final Cut doesn't bring the same degree of sweet in the taste.
Bryan Rieger
I'd just like some of the long-standing bugs resolved, and the overall UI/UX improved in the existing apps before even considering plowing headfirst into any new apps. Despite the bugs Affinity has, it is great software for a really great price. I just upgraded from V1 with the flash sale and paid I think $67 CDN for all apps. I use Affinity rarely, but at that price I bought it to have and if I need it at some point great! People want that with everything else, really good software but low low price tag. The sale price for the Universal Licence is CA$109.99, so with a 25% upgrade discount that would have dropped to CA$82.49. Still a bargain! Still a bargain! Yeah, I think I got it mixed up with a Parallels upgrade I did at the same time, both had sales on software. But yeah, does not change anything I said before, you can't beat that price.

Yes, I would certainly have gone for it if I hadn’t snapped up the launch offer (nearly 40% off the regular price, regardless of whether you owned version 1 or not). And many could just use iMovie, that is also free. So, that's not the only reason. The reassurance given by the brand seems to be at work. cyberlizard
Personally I would like to see an Affinity text editor which has inbuilt support for affinity’s text styles that could function in the same way as linked graphics so that text frames automatically update when changes are made. doesn’t need to be a full blown word processor just enough to get the job done without having to switch over to external word processing applications. You have added a request for a text editor as a separate thread. I don’t see the point in also adding your request for a text editor to this request for video editing capabilities.
