Hangman
Hi @lululightning and welcome to the forums, The Lumix G9 Mark II isn’t on the list of currently supported cameras which likely explains the issue you’re seeing… Unfortunately there’s currently no indication as to when it will be added… Quote Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Staff Chris B Posted January 12 Staff Share Posted January 12 @lululightning would you mind attaching a raw from the Lumix G9? I can't find a free sample online so if you can send one over, I can try and put it on the list for when we next update the supported raw files. Hangman
Hi @Chris B, There are some sample RAW files from the Lumix G9 Mark II available here... https://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/panasonic_lumix_g9_ii_review If you scroll about halfway down the article, they're just below the JPEG samples... Staff Chris B Posted January 12 Staff Share Posted January 12 Thanks. Always nice to get some websites with sources. I tried a few and they opened but they opened incorrectly. I was just getting a red canvas. OP sounded like they couldn't even get as far as opening them. Still, I'd like one from the OP so we can get it into the system. I read the OP's issue the other way, as in they simply don't open correctly but could be completely wrong about that... Non riesco a trovare un campione gratuito online, quindi se puoi inviarne uno, posso provare a metterlo nella lista per quando aggiorneremo i file raw supportati. file G9 M2. this is ok. Hangman
Hi @lululightning, Just for reference purposes, here is a link to the list of currently supported cameras... Affinity apps use the LibRaw library so are reliant on camera support being added by them... There's clearly been a change between the Lumix DC G9 and the DC G9 Mark II since RAW files from the former, which are supported, open without issue... https://www.libraw.org/supported-cameras Patrick Connor, Chris B and lululightning 1 2 Quote Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Thanks. That means that support in LibRaw is imminent, but we don't know when they will make the LibRaw package publicly available for download outside of rawdigger.
