NotMyFault
It seems Photo curves adjustment is broken. when selecting the alpha channel, no nodes are present at 0/0 or 1/1, and you cannot add any nodes manually to modify the curve. choosing other RGB channels works. walt.farrell
I see the same behavior on iPad. It works fine on Windows. Nnooo
Still broken in 2.4. I was hoping to be able to do some work on my iPad while travelling but this basically breaks my whole workflow. Why are some features there on one platform and not another? I have files setup and working well on windows that need editing while travelling and I only have an ipad. The main thrust of the work is using these adjustment layers and specifically adjusting the alpha channel... B0R10N
B0R10N
Agreed. This bug also affects my workflow. Making simple corrections of objects separated from background or scanned hand drawings is unnecessary cumbersome & time consuming. With each update I hope this one would be fixed. Good folks of Affinity, please correct this🙏🏼
B0R10N
It is still broken in latest 2.5 beta. Can it be fixed, please? NotMyFault and Car Photo Editing Lab
Nnooo
Is this fixed yet? Why are the features on each platform different? It’s making it really hard for me to justify continuing to support the iPad and Affinity when basically getting a MacBook or a Windows machine is a better option. Particularly when they release M4 iPads and still the iPad’s “pro” software is still cut down versions of the desktop!?

No. If it were fixed, there would be a post here from the Affinity Info Bot saying it was fixed, and telling us which release fixed it. 9 hours ago, Nnooo said: Why are the features on each platform different? If that's a question about this problem, it isn't a matter of the features being different. This issue is a bug, and it is supposed to work as it does on the desktop. NotMyFault
Interestingly the curves adjustment has a iPad specific feature: you can toggle „linear“ for the interpolation between nodes. As the iPad versions is newer than Desktop, and it probably re-uses more building blocks, the code may share parts with blend ranges UI, where this toggle is available on all platforms. mollywaters
I am seeing the same issue. Is it safe to assume there is still no resolution?

NotMyFault
Another user found a workaround (in a thread I can’t find right now): Add curve adjustment choose the alpha channel click the hand (view tool) click again on the curve. You can now add nodes and adjust them. unfortunately, if you try to re-edit an existing curve the curve will reset and you need to start over again. If in doubt, make a copy for reference.
