pdf exports to spreads as default

I think that the default export to pdf should be Pages, not Spreads. I can't seem to get a preset to print to pages instead of spreads, and have to choose Pages every time, which I often forget.

+1 Strongly agree! I like to compose the document as a spread, but I can barely imagine any situation where I would want to export it as a spread.

It has been a pain in the arse since version 1 and very disappointing that it wasn’t fixed when version 2 was released. I’ve yet to see someone from Serif acknowledge it as an issue let alone suggest that it’s going to be fixed.

Yet another setting in the Affinity apps that would be so much better if they just made it sticky! I cannot understand why Serif seem to think that they know better than the user what the default setting should be for this sort of thing.

I'm sure that for most purposes single pages are needed more often than spreads. Also, if you do get it wrong, it's easier to convert single pages to spreads, than it is to split spreads into single pages.

It is still on the roadmap to be fixed, not as an independent issue, but as part of a broader revision of the Export dialog.
