Pixelated sky in image not whole image just the sky

Recommended Posts

Really hard to say what happened or how to fix it without at least a screenshot of your document with the Layers panel visible, or better yet a sample Affinity format file showing the problem.

Apparently I gave you more credit than your due. If you know your program well and are proficient at it you should be able to answer the question without all the screen shot baloney. Just don't answer if you don't know, simple !

It isn't about how well anyone knows the app. It is about trying to figure out what you did with it while fiddling with its many option when you provide so little info about that.

If you are asking for help, you should be a little more friendly and cooperative. R C-R knows the Affinity Apps very well, but he is not a soothsayer. If only a part of an image document is pixelated, there must be some reason in the way you edit the image. To assess what possibly causes this result, we need more information. E.g. what and how many layers and sub layers are in the Layers Panel. I don't think that it is a bug or some kind of issue, because usually the program doesn't distinguish a sky from the rest of the image.

Unless you can give us more information the only answer I have to the question "How to correct?" is .... Please give us some more information.

How many layers are there? Did you try using the Edit > Undo command once or several times? Can we see what the image looks like?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
