Kia ora,

can anyone provide an example of "last line outdent", with the information provided in the manual I wasn't able to figure out what it means. I have tried different paragraphs and then changing the setting to see how the paragraph changes to no avail.

Cheers.

The only thing I can think of is the writer's name on the last line of the last paragraph of a story. You could set up Paragraph styles for the story named First Paragraph, Story text and Last Paragraph. You will have a line return and then the author's name in the last paragraph. Use appropriately.

I cannot think of any use of this in flowing text that makes up a regular publication. It seems to be one of those things that is included tor no other reason than "We can do this and someone might want to use it".

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

It would seem so, but I guess there is nothing wrong with that.

I can imagine to use the Last Line Outdent when the last line ends with a differing text / information.
This could be a page number (e.g. contents), a date or time (e.g. program, schedule), a value for volume or weight (e.g. recipe), a price (menu), a list of companies | floors, etc.

Below with justified left versus left aligned. The Last Line Outdent is set to 0 but actually defined by the tab which is used in the last line to achieve the auto leader dots.

Perhaps also for marking mathematical theorems.
