Starbase1
OK, so I know how to process a folder of images. But what I want to do is to process image sequences, operating on images with the same number. An example will probably make this a lot clearer. I have two image sequences, A-001 to A-0100, and B-001 to B-0100 What I want to do is take each B-nnn image, and paste it onto the corresponding A-nnn image, in screen mode. There are other operations, but they all come down to combining the matching images from image sequences. Is this possible in Affinity Photo please? David in Яuislip
Well, this does my understanding of your requirement: Change the numbering from A-001 to A-0100, and B-001 to B-0100 to 001A to 100A, 001B to 100B Create a File\New Stack Load the files - 1st column in the image below Select all the layers in the group and do Arrange\Move Outside - 2nd column in the image below Delete the Live Stack Group at the bottom Select the top layer and run the attached macro until you get to the bottom of the stack - 3rd column in the image below Use the Export Persona to get the layers out as files abScreenMerge.afmacro NotMyFault, lacerto, Lisbon and 3 others 4 2 Quote Microsoft Windows 10 Home, Intel i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 16 GB RAM, 500GB SSD, 1TB Whirlygig, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/

Beats my idea of convincing several tiny relatives to sit there and do the work because it is a (FUN) learning experience. Myself, I am running out of tiny relatives, waiting on the newly older ones to start making some new tiny people. It also sounds like I need to hunt down a proper tutorial on stacks, if they are this powerful... I'm actually trying to leverage the image processing power of Affinity to do clever things with animations that seem confined to highly expensive rent-dont-buy applications, and this looks like just the trick. telemax
In HitFilm Express, it is possible to import frame sequences, as well as different blending modes.
