PepGold
How can I get the Isometric panel in Photo? I was playing with custom cube grid in Grid and Snapping axis yesterday and the panel appeared allowing me to fit artwork to grid. But now I can't get it back, it is not in View > Studio. Does anybody know?
PepGold
Arg I found it. You have to choose "Isometric "as "Grid Type" and then uncheck then check "Create plane set". Weird it isn't in "Studio" 👽

firstdefence
The isometric panel is not in Affinity Photo, he just has Affinity Designer open as well and has the isometric panel floating and Affinity Designer minimised. firstdefence
Then I owe you an apology. Why is Affinity burying the isometric panel and not having this listed on the studio panel list? When you open the Grid and axis manager you have to uncheck and check the create plane set option to get the isometric panel up. GTG but sorry and thanks for the video. Maybe it's something unresolved/forgotten in the code, or some side effect of trying to process documents from ADesigner. Something like Text on Path, which is not in APhoto, but when a document from ADe with Text on Path is opened, the text can be edited and set. Clive185
Ah sorry you are right, it's not in the list under studio, but I have the panel available in Mac and not on the windows version. Here is a screenshot from my Macbook Air showing the panel. Very weird

I got the Isometric Studio panel to appear in AP by first setting the Grid & Axis Manager to one of the Grid types that supports creating plane sets, & toggling that off & on, which opens the Isometric Studio panel. Once that panel was displayed, I dragged it into one of the tabbed Studio panel groups, for me the same one where I collected Styles, Adjustments, & several other panels into one tabbed group: It remains there after restarting the app, so I no longer have to open the Grid & Axis Manager to access it. The panel does not appear on mac in Separate Mode but only appears in not-Separate Mode. I don't see a way to make it to display in Separate Mode. Besides the missing entry in the Studio panels list this seems to be an additional symptom of this UI bug with the Isometric feature. My suspicion is that the Isometric panel should not be available in AP, and the bug is that it can be coerced into appearing in AP.
