goojoob
Hi, Just updated to Affinity Designer 1.8.3 in Mac. Now, every time i open the application, my custom keyboard shortcuts are lost. I have to load my AffinityShortcut file every time i open the program. Is this a bug with the new version? Because it is impossible working like this. Thanks. I think they are saved when the program closes, and not if it crashes or if you reboot the system while the program is open. Just done it right now, and the keyboard shortcuts are not saved...

It sounds like it could be a permissions problem. If so, an answer to the question @Pšenda asked & telling us which store (Mac or Affinity) it was purchased from may help with resolving that. Staff Lee D Posted April 9, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 9, 2020 Open Designer and confirm that the default shortcuts are showing by clicking Serif Defaults, the Quit the app. Browse to Users > your username > Library > Application Support > Affinity Designer and leave the window open. Now reopen Designer and then Preferences and load your shortcut file, check in the list to make sure they're showing and click Close, now Quit Designer again. Check to see if you have shortcuts.affshortcuts file in that location showing. Leave this folder open and open Designer, does that file (shortcuts.affshortcuts) disappear or remain? I have done all the steps you wrote. Everytime i load my shortcut file and then close Designer, the Modify Date of shortcuts.affshortcuts in that folder changes. I think this is good. Then, when i open Designer again, the file remains, but all my shortcuts are gone again!
