firstdefence Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Used a few effects from the ever awesome Filter Forge 9, such as the flaking paint wall, and the wavy effect on the wings. The wings are from Pixabay uploader zorro4, and the main image worried girl woman waiting sitting by Ryan McGuire Edit: Noticed a few mistakes, so did a bit of refining, Id misaligned the light rays and I'd missed some erasing on the girls legs. This is the original afphoto file if you want to play around with it: Fight or Flight.afphoto (55.5Mb) and these were the afbrushes I made for the light rays: Light Rays by Dex.afbrushes (1Mb) Patrick Connor, Wosven, MEB and 8 others 11 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... AffinityJules Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Great image. Did you consider centralising it? Quote Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.

I did, but I preferred it being off-centre, gives it a discordant edginess which I think conveys the girls mood, deep in thought, trying to deal with a tough choice, having a strong internal dialogue. I also like how the hair sits over her eyes, giving the illusion of them being open, when you first look, she looks as though she is staring intensely but viewing it closer her eyes are closed. There's a battle being waged in her head, who will be victorious? that is why I made the wings twisting as if her conflicting emotions were resonating through them. AffinityJules Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Sounds fair to me. It also shows that you put some thought into it. firstdefence and jmwellborn 1 1 Quote Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe.
