Designer1
When exporting the PNG file I notice that the quality could be better. Especially with the font you don't see such smooth contours. The contours of vector graphics could be even smoother. I have compared this with PNG export from CorelDraw, png export from CorelDraw gives better anti-aliasing. First C was exported with Affinity Designer, second C with CorelDraw. You can see that Corel delivers better, smoother contours. Designer1
I don't know if it's a bug. Maybe export quality can be improved. PNG is supposed to be very sharp and the letter edges very smooth.

True, but only if you're not zooming in when you examine it. If you are zooming in, then because it is a raster format not a vector format you will see imperfections. Jowday
Not only when you zoom in. I see it instantly. The professional smoothing from Corel and Adobe is just better and it does matter when bitmaps are used on webpages and in games. Vector is not always used. Designer1
I know that the subtle difference is not immediately visible. You need a trained eye to see these subtleties. I hope the Affinity Team will improve the PNG export so that one can't tell the difference between PNG from Affinity Designer and from Adobe.
