  2. I have been testing and you are right, but you miss one more layer 😅 Texto curvado: curve text. Dar forma al texto: shape text. Curvar texto de trazado: curve path text. Dar forma al texto de trazado: shape path text. Then, resuming, before the Stack layer answer is: 1. Mesa de trabajo 1: artboard. 2. Capa 1: vector layer or layer layer. 3. Pixel: pixel layer. 4. Máscara: mask layer. 5. Ajuste niveles: adjustment layer. 6. Curva: curve layer. 6a. Curves layer. 7. Elipse: shape layer. 8. Rectángulo: vector crop layer. 9. 3. Hello all: But, what is a Stack layer? Thank you MEB for the new 2 type of layers. Then, resuming, before the Stack layer answer is: 1. Mesa de trabajo 1: artboard. 2. Capa 1: vector layer or layer layer. 3. Pixel: pixel layer. 4. Máscara: mask layer. 5. Ajuste niveles: adjustment layer. 6. Curva: curve layer. 6a. Curves layer. 7. Elipse: shape layer. 8. Rectángulo: vector crop layer. 9. Texto artístico: artistic text layer. 10. Marco de texto: frame text layer. 11. Panel stock.PNG: image layer. 12. Group layer. 13. Shape Text layer. 14. Curve Text layer. 15. Compound Layer. 16. Symbol layer. 17. Linked document layer. 18. Embedded document layer. There are many kind layers...MEB, could there be any other layer in Designer? Thank you everybody.
  4. Thank you NotMyFault for you answer, but I think your list is beyond my purpose. You touch topics that I don´t know and are more from Photo. But, thank you anyway. Regards.
  5. Hello all: I have realize that the Vector layer (point 2 of the list) is only a container. If you try to draw on it, Designer create layers into it. So, the Vector layer is in fact the Layer layer you speak about. Right? Cheers.
  6. Hello all: The thing is that a layer layer I think is only a regular layer. So I prefer not to include it in the list. I erase path text layer because we have shape text layer and curve text layer. Thank you Telemax for the new one. Resuming: 1. Mesa de trabajo 1: artboard. 2. Capa 1: vector layer. 3. Pixel: pixel layer. 4. Máscara: mask layer. 5. Ajuste niveles: adjustment layer. 6. Curva: curve layer. 6a. Curves layer. 7. Elipse: shape layer. 8. Rectángulo: vector crop layer. 9. Texto artístico: artistic text layer. 10. Marco de texto: frame text layer. 11. Panel stock.PNG: image layer. 12. Group layer. 13. Shape Text layer. 14. Curve Text layer. 15. Compound Layer. 16. Symbol layer. Cheers!
  7. Hello Alfred: Yeah: 4. Mask layer and 8. Vector crop layer Ok. I keep not to know what that means, Prehaps a regular layer that contains sublayers? Thanks.
  8. Thank you everybody for the help. Indeed I hadn´t thought on so many types of layers...Now, I see I missed many of them... So, resuming (without layers from Photo and Publisher, because I´m only interested on Designer layers): 1. Mesa de trabajo 1: artboard. 2. Capa 1: vector layer. 3. Pixel: pixel layer. 4. Máscara: mask layer. 5. Ajuste niveles: adjustment layer. 6. Curva: curve layer. 6a. Curves layer. 7. Elipse: shape layer. 8. Rectángulo: vector crop layer. 9. Texto artístico: artistic text layer. 10. Marco de texto: frame text layer. 11. Panel stock.PNG: image layer. 12. Group layer. 13. Shape Text layer. 14. Path Text layer. I don´t exactly know what is this. I guess this is the same as curve text layer. 15. Curve Text layer. 16. Compound Layer. Layers from the other programs or unknown layers: 1. Layer layer. I don´t know what is this, haha. 2. Fill layer (though usually not present in a Designer document). From Photo, I guess. 3. Live Filter Layer (also usually not present in a Designer document). From Photo. 4. Master Page Layer (also usually not present in a Designer document). From Publisher. I suppose there will be another layer or layers we don´t remember or we don´t even know. Old Bruce, thank you for the 4 types of layers. That will also be usefull for what I have to do. Thank you everybody for the help again and regards.
  9. Hello all: I would like to know how many type of layers there are in Affinity Designer. I have counted 11 type of layers: To everybody understand the image, now I write in english the type of each layer: 1. Mesa de trabajo 1: artboard. 2. Capa 1: vector layer. 3. Pixel: pixel layer. 4. Máscara: mask layer. 5. Ajuste niveles: adjustment layer. 6. Curva: curve layer. 7. Elipse: shape layer. 8. Rectángulo: vector crop layer. 9. Texto artístico: artistic text layer. 10. Marco de texto: frame text layer. 11. Panel stock.PNG: image layer. Thank you everybody. Cheers.
  10. Hello all: I want to make a question regarding the resources manager. When you import a .PNG file, the resources manager shows that file. Ok, that´s right. If you import a .PNG file and then you add it to the assets panel, when you add that asset to a document, the resources manager shows that file. Ok, that´s right. If you buy a collection of assets in the Affinity shop and then you add one .PNG asset to your document, the resources manager doesn´t show that file. I think that´s not right. Can anyone tell me why this different treatment to .PNG files? Same treatment for .JPG files, as the following example. Thanks.
  11. Thank you all for the answers. I think this is right, as I posted before. But I wanted a confirmation about this was right and I wasn´t confussed; and over all, that Convert looks for the most similar colour but doesn´t exactly match (depending of the colour profiles). Thank you all.
  12. Hello everybody: I have a question regarding changing the colour profile of a document. The help says: For applying a different colour profile, Assign adopts the new profile but leaves the values of the colours/pixels as is. Convert converts each colour from the old profile to the new one—colour/pixel values may change as a result. I have proved it and what it does is the following (for example): Asign: if into sRGB I have an HSL colour value 81:100:50, asign will keep HSL 81:100:50 when I change the profile to AdobeRGB. Convert: if into sRGB I have an HSL colour value 81:100:50, convert will change HSL value. I think looking for the most similar colour, but I really don´t know. Could anyone tell me about this? Thanks.
  13. You can collect all linked images from the resource pannel without changing the file extension. Apart, if you want to collect fonts too, then you must use "Save as package"; and later, if you want to have a .afdesign file, you only need to use "Save as".
  14. Hello: Apart of these bugs of the packaging function, the help says you have to delete any image or font you don´t want to include in the package after creating it. When you delete any image from the folder "Images" of the package, the deleted image is still appearing when you open the package. I think this is a bug too. Thanks.
  15. Hello: I think that with the contour tool and boolean operations you can do it. Regards.
  16. Serif said time ago, they don´t want to keep a roadmap visible for customers, because it generates complaints later. Apart, you want a vote system for new features. What about a hybrid system consisting in Serif said some features they were considering to develop in a short time and users could vote which of them are more usefull? Serif was not obligated to hear features they are not prepared to develop, so they wouldn´t receive complaints later; and also users can make a mini roadmap, even helping Serif to see, which features they are thinking, users really don´t need, saving time not developing them.
  17. Solved. The solution is to give colour to the strokes of every masks. You have the masks with a white fill, so paint the strokes with white. It shouldn´t be work in this way, because the vector masks didn´t have strokes initially; but now we know masks are affected by both parts: fill and stroke. Gabe, is this gonna be modified in the future? Apart of the solution, the same selection filter is a very good piece of news for the 1.9 update, but for example it doesn´t have an option to select all masks. It would be great to give more power to the filter. Thanks. test176.afdesign
  18. Hello Pauls: If with pinning you mean anchoring (sorry for my english), I only set the image anchored, not with any special settings... Thanks.
  19. Hello Pauls: Here you have. It´s very simple. Bug.afpub I have discover right now, this problem only occurs when the page where we want to put the image doesn´t have any line (although it was blank). If we have created lines in the tarjet page, Publisher does not crash. Thank you.
  20. I have discover right now, this problem only occurs when the last page doesn´t have any line (although it was blank). If we have created lines in the last page, Publisher does it Ok. Thank you.
  21. Hello: This fail remember me to this post, not solved yet: Regards.
