nater973 Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Hello, every time I try to run a macro using New Batch Job, AP crashes almost immediately. Using AP 1.7.3.481 on Windows 10. Windows 10 version 10.0.17763 Build 17763 Running AP off GeForce RTX 2070, version 441.41 Memory data rate: 14.00 Gbps Total available graphics memory 16 GB Dedicated video memory: 8 GB Share system memory: 8 GB I'm attempting to run the macro on multiple JPG files. I'll be glad to send the macro, but I'm not sure where to find it in Windows 10. In AP, right-clicking on the macro only gives me the option to rename or delete it. Thanks, Nathaniel Quote

In AP, right-clicking on the macro only gives me the option to rename or delete it. In the Library Studio panel, if you right-click on the macro you should also have "Edit macro". Then, in the Macro studio panel, click on the export icon (2nd one from the right). That will give you a .afmacro file containing just that macro. nater973 Posted December 26, 2019 Author Posted December 26, 2019 Thanks Walt. The macro is attached. Part of my problem in exporting was that I was trying to figure out a way to do it without an image open. However, your response got me thinking and the problem is definitely in the macro somewhere. I tested other macros I had created and they ran fine in a new batch job. This macro, though, has a problem in it. Here's the descriptor part of the macro: Add White Balance Adjustment Set adjustment parameters Merge Down Noise Reduction Add Shadows/Highlights Adjustment Set adjustment parameters Merge Down Add Exposure Adjustment Set adjustment parameters Merge Down Would the crashing have anything do with my merging down after each adjustment? Thanks, Nathaniel Xmas Macro.afmacro Quote
Gnobelix Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Hello @nater973, The macro is OK for me disable parallel processing in the batch processing then it should work. carl123 Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Looks like it could be the Denoise function bug when used in a batch job See this thread... https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/102987-built-a-macro-to-denoise-jpeg-files/ PS. I have not retested in the latest beta Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. nater973 Posted December 26, 2019 Author Posted December 26, 2019 Thanks all. The Denoise bug was it. I removed that and the macro ran successfully! Quote
