Tim Woodward Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 I want to resize some photos, so I found a handy tutorial here; https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/photo/desktop/video/309876656/ The nice man says I have to go to the document menu, where I will find the resize tool. Sounds simple However, when I open my photo, that white strip where the document menu lives is not there. It just simply isn’t there, no matter what I do I would be very grateful for any suggestions - thanks Quote

smadell Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 A suggestion and a comment: 1) Try clicking the little green circle (upper left) as this might reveal the menu bar. 2) That's quite a photo! If this doesn’t work, try moving your cursor to top of screen to see if drop down menu appears. synaptic Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 Years later, but thanks for this thread. I also was looking for the Help files' reference to "Document Menu" and I couldn't find it anywhere in the menu bar. It's instead located in the Designer and/or Pixel Persona view (those are in the upper left), and then "Document Setup..." box appears in the upper left tabs across the top. Quote

This discussion was about Photo, and it sounds like you were looking at Photo's Help. All 3 applications have different, though in some ways similar, menu structures. synaptic 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
