Affinity Photo and Jixipix Plugins

Could you please fix the Jixiplugins to work better with Affinity Photo?when i open an image ,and i i use one of those plugins  after using a preset i can't go back and open the plugin again,please if it's possible ?

Yeah a few bugs with Jixipix, it can also launch and bring up a window saying " Jixipix plugin is active, please quite or apply (button: Show), clicking on the button opens the jixipix window but no image or selected layer is loaded. You can manually load an image but if you close down the jixi window you can't shut down the initial message and have to force close Affinity Photo.

I have same problem as @chaleco45, after use a JixiPix plugin, I cannot use again, plugin will no open.  Any tip for fix?

This bug is in Affinity,because I use ACDSEE 2019,and I can open the plugin,in the edit mode and change or open and closed it as much i want,so this bug is in Affinity

Hmmmmm... Not sure, because other 8bf Photoshop plugins is working. 🧐🤨 I think plugin caller not 100% compatible.

I use Akvis, Skylum, Topaz, Franzis, Filter Forge plugins without any problem.

I am having the same problems as the writers above.  Affinity is such a good product, and so is Jixipix.  Where does the problem lie.  The silence is deafening on both the Affinity and Jixipix sites.

Just to throw this into the mix I recently purchased Pastello pro and watercolour pro and so far they both work fine within the plugin system. Early days but all sees to work fine in affinity Photo. I’m using a Mac with os Catalina.

JixiPix has recently updated all their plugins to work with Affinity Photo. I've not tested them yet but they should now run without issues.

Yes.  They work seamlessly now.  I have Watercolor Studio Pro and Impresso Pro.  Affinity to JixiPix to Affinity to JixiPix without a hiccup.  They updated their plugin files last week.  @Don Spady if you are still having trouble, send an email to support@jixipix.com and ask them to send you the latest installer file.

I can't follow JixiPix version numbers and updates. Just under Premium Pack I see three different versions

 

And I tested callback with Rip Studio, and working after update.

For everybody now using Mac Big Sur with the M1 chip and Affinity v. 1.8.6, and who have expressed an interest in these plugins, thought you would like to know that they are now fully compatible with Affinity Photo.  I have just downloaded the updates for the JixiPix plugins Watercolor Studio, Impresso Pro, and Pastello Pro.  The plugins work seamlessly now with Photo and the M1 chip.  Hopefully other developers will not be far behind!  (Pity I didn't deal with the unnecessary white canvas before I chucked the original.  G'r'r'r.)
