It looks like something's wrong with the Styles Pane options in iPad. Is this a known issue? Or is there something of which I'm unaware regarding my iPad? The righthand image is from my Mac.

Hi After developed one photo in Affinity photo iPad version, Is it possible to sync all the changes to another photo/photos? thanks in advanced!

I am trying to import a gradient palette (.afpalette) to AP on the iPad. I can access the palette menu and see option to 'Add Application/Document' palette. All this does is generate a new Category heading. No option to navigate to the palette file. Am I doing something wrong or, Is the import option unavailable on the iPad version?

Howdy! As the title suggests, is it possible to have the textual manual that is available from within the app as a standalone file (PDF, HTML, EPUB, etc.)? It isn't very comfortable to switch back and forth between the manual and the app Thanks!

I start with a portrait-oriented Untitled. After selecting the fill tool, the type won't change from "None". It snaps back and won't stay selected after I choose from the popup Type menu. Please advise, thank you.

Made with Affinity Photo and Designer complete on the iPad Pro (Also used After Effect + Rough Animator for motion graphic) While studying at SAE for my Bachelor of Design, I got the opportunity to work on a re-brand and advertisement campaign for Wokka. (The following body of work is for university work only and are not for a real camping) The campaign is focused around 3 main posters that follow the story of the Dinosaur challenging the Ninja to a fight (Poster 1) so they go to the battlefield in order to fight (Poster 2) Tho they realized that neither one of them knew how to fight, so they ended it on the dance floor. The Ninja won the battle and the dinosaurs did not like this so he takes the ninja into hiding. After a couple of weeks after the posters go up a new poster he be put up over the past posters along in other area's and within the online place, this poster is a "Ninja missing poster" on the back will give some information and a QR code to give information to the "player" about the "transmedia" game where the "player" will need go around the "real world" with the Wokka app taking photos of the ninja's clothes, ninja sword, ninja star along with the use of information around online such as youtube video, Reddit posts, forum posts and more to help give information to the ninja's location, bringing the community together for a single goal. To help find the ninja's location in order for the first 5 people who find him and take a photo to get one year supply of Wokka noddles and to start of 50% off and double points for Wokka products. In Affinity Designer on iPad, is there such a tool that allows one to trim curves to other curves. For example, if I have a Donut Shape with a square shape on top of it and I want to take the tilted square shape out of the donut shape but want to leave the curves of two sides of the square intact while trimming the other two sides to the intersection of the outside and inside curves of the donut, then trim the donuts curves that fall inside the shape to the curves of the two edges of the square. In this example the Donut shape after the Trim would be a closed shape and the two lines of the square would be and open shape. If anyone is familiar to AutoCAD’s Trim tool, exactly that tools functionality but in Affinity Designer for iPad. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Very sorry if this has already been answered but I struggled to find a solution myself. I want to know how to expand or outline a stroke in designer on the iPad. I know how it's done via the desktop app but not the iPad version. Many thanks in advance.

Support for Apple Pencil 2 inc double tap The single change in 1.6.3 (over 1.6.2) is as follows : Import of graphic styles (.afstyles files) has been fixed. To avoid a potentially lengthy beta process that is all that is included in this release. The change-list for 1.6.2 (over 1.6.1) is as follows and is essentially made to improve the apps performance : Fix for artefacts at the end of long strokes with pressure applied. Fix for incorrect opacity of objects with raster enclosure mask. Show currently selected colour context in the Colour Studio button and raster brush tool context bars. Put the vector brush categories back to their correct names how they were for 1.6.0 (affects new installations only). a few minor memory leaks and fixes. I would like the ability to control opacity from within the pencil tool— like an rgba set up. I would also like to be able to set the tool as a multiply (or other) type to quickly layer shapes and colors. As of writing I’m not sure if this is possible without going into the layer menu to adjust opacity and layer types.

Greetings! I am teaching myself how to use Affinity Photo iPad. I am trying to resize my graphic but I can not see on the canvas the true size of my artboard even if I use a border. I am trying to design a poster size document 18"x24" (46x61 cm). I also tried to change the color of the canvas but could not figure out how to do that as well. Any help or videos to assist would be helpful. Thanks!

I am trying to even out the skin tone on the arm of my son. This photo was taken at the Salt Flats in Utah with a manual lense, so there is glare and a lack of super sharpness in the original photo. It was a quick spontaneous moment that I was lucky to catch. I am not that concerned about those issues. My concern is the abrupt skin tone change on my son’s arm due to the taning of the lower arm. My attempts to match the skin tone only succeed if I allow the tatoos to fade dramatically. I would like to have the tatoos remain dark but the skin tone lighten up. I would prefer to know the proper steps to do this as opposed to someone doing it for me. I am asking for help so that I learn more about using Affinity Photo on my iPad. Thank All.

I have accidentally turned something on in Affinity Designer for iPad using multitouch. I can’t move it or remove it. I am hoping someone knows what I did and more importantly how to get it back off my screen. This shows on any drawing, both examples and ones I’ve made. See attached image. It is a white circle with a small square in the center I have marked it on the image. Thanks

hey guys, i'm new with affinity designer, i use it about a week in my ipad pro 9.7 inch. This app is powerfull yet have few issues. I just want to ask if the text will always become pixel if i export it into PSD file ? or any suggesstion so the text still editable in other apps? Because this issue, i always re-adding text on my laptop with photoshop/illustrator so the text still editable. I search in many post but still this issue not clear for me. I’m having issues of constant crashing on IOS. This is making me lose progress every time it crashes. The program crashes so often , probably after 5-10 seconds of work but sometimes up to a few minutes. Not sure what’s happening. I tried to upload my file but the forum kept failing upon download . i can not get rid of the purple outlines around the shapes in designer on the ipad. only zooming in and out removing them but only till i work again Thanks in advance

Hi! I'm new on forums and on the wonderful Affinity universe. I have Affinity Designer on my new iPad and I can't find how to get back to the default brush. I drew with it from the beginning and now I tried some others brush and I can't find it!! Some help, please?

Having edited an image on my iPad, I then export, select icloud and then photos folder and 'add', but the edited photo does not arrive in my standard photo library, which only holds the original. What am I doing wrong? If I share the edited image to the 'icloud photo sharing' app, still the edited photo fails to arrive within that app, as one would expect. And if I place it as file on iPad, I can only open it again in Affinity. So I am finding very difficult to establish a simple work flow, so a photo from the iPad's embedded photo library can be edited and stored along with the original in the same place.
