...but how these help in lens correction routines? Grids help and are available too. Guides would be even better, but I think you cannot access guides in Develop.

Yes it is. You need to select the isometric grid then you get an additional menu option.

The Guides Manager is not available on Mac (Develop Persona). Only on Windows. This is a known issue that's already logged to be looked at.

I would definitely be interested in Publisher on my iPad. I have the other Affinity programs and was hoping to be able to do even more on my iPad.

Matteo Borghi reacted to Heavy Doody in Export Default File Name
Instead of defaulting to the name "Untitled", I'd love to see the name default to be the name of the file I opened.
The workflow that lead me this way: Apple Photos is my DAM. Affinity Photo is my RAW processor and editor. I open Apple Photos files from within Affinity. To get the file back to Apple Photos, I export. I don't pay attention to the filename coming in, so I don't know what to manually rename it to. As a result, I think I have 100s of files named "Untitled" in my Apple Photos library.

Damn, yes, I was confusing rulers with guides.
I know I can use the grid, but I would prefer to be able to move the guides in the correct place.
But I assume I will have to use the grid instead, as other users suggested me.

    Thanks for the tips.
Badly needed feature for lens correction I'd think, especially if it's to be done in the Develop Persona. This is not something I want to do by eyeballing.

I think I’d go for your first option. Clean and simple. If need be add another tool which can do more, but when I need to move something around, it’s just that I want to do and nothing else.

Totally agree, very aggravating! Please fix and also make a proper nudge tool.

I find it very difficult to move objects around, especially line vectors. It makes the program a frustrating experience to create vectors of any complexity.

No, it is definitely not your fault, it is Serif's fault. This is a known issue that many people (including me) have been complaining about.
By far and away the worst thing about trying to use Designer on an iPad. In fact it is nearly impossible to use it.
Serif have been very quiet about this but hopefully they will listen to all the complaints from their customers and fix it.

    Hi all,
This has already been logged as an improvement. Basically, it really depends on the size of the shape and the zoom level. If you have a small shape and zoomed our really far ( the shape being smaller than the fingertip) you will, of course, have a hard time moving/resizing. Zooming in should make your life a bit easier.
    Thanks,
    Gabe.

    Hi guys!
I hope this wasn't a question somebody asked before - I've checked the forum and couldn't find anything about.
So, what I'm here to ask is if in the future would be possible to open the .procreate file into Affinity Designer and Photo!
That would be amazing and would speed up my workflow a lot, instead of exporting .PSD files.
I've asked the Procreate guys and they told me you are good friends so it may be possible, but that I have to ask you because is not up to them
You two are the main competitors to Adobe: if your app will become compatible between each other it would be a HUGE point in your favour!

Please do it! Do it! Do it!
    Thank you and best regards,
    Matteo
