[UI Design direction / Affinity Designer best tool for UI]

I love madly Affinity Designer and all time use it for all projects. But some times my customers ask for source files and i mush use Figma & Sketch and it hurts me a lot.
Very important note, I have used all graphic tools  / including UI design like adobe Xd /Figma /Sketch. it is impossible to use all these tools after Affinity Designer. because it is incredibly nice fast smooth and made at super high level. 

I also read a cool idea to create an application as a  Affinity Publisher but for UI. Its main task is to design for the Web & Mobile app, as well as it has the ability to switch to a Affinity Designer or Photo through StudioLink. It will be super cool tool because Affinity Product are fantastic:) and there is a great lack of tools from them in the UI/UX /Design industry.

There are no decent tools on the market for UI and I believe that you could show an incredibly high level in this industry because your stuff is incredible cool:)

I will try to suggest some ideas, maybe it will be useful to you:

- make your Сloud with a paid subscription
- where you can save versions of file changes, view who made which changes and work together with your team

- give links to view your projects to your clients where they can leave their feedback

- Hanoff function and inspect element from cloud by developer in your team

- Prototype function to link artboards to provide a user experience of using your UI design
- Different UI functions like Stack Elements, Grid repeat, quick filling of avatar of users names and dates

It would be very cool to have another application in the Serif StudioLink specifically for design and prototyping.

[ProtoPie import from Affinity apps]

I am sorry that I use this post for such purposes but pay attention for it pls.

I discover for my self this cool tool - ProtoPie. So cool and easy for make great prototype. I asked ProtoPie support about importing from Affinity Designer. They said you can make a request and we will consider this opportunity.

[UI/UX Design and Prototyping Features]

I do not want to bend under the market. With Sketch or Figma/XD. On our studio I use Affinity Designer and advocate this tool in every way. At all sites in social networks, I promote the Affinity Designer. Despite the fact that people and developers of other programs and plugins do not give due attention to Affinity apps (for example ProtoPie and other has export from XD, Sketch, Figma). But I believe thanks to the friendly and hard work of the community and the company Serif, We  show the world what Affinity App are (!)

[Prototype persona or Affinity Proto app]

Hi! Do You have any plan to made prototyping capability? It will be Greate! Because There are not tool that cat import file from Affinity app. Only Figma, Sketch, Adobe Xd. But i love Affinity Designer and have some trouble with animate my design. I export all like images and after animated it in Principle. It's wrong way , i think.

If affinity designer can do transition between artboard it will be super cool! Just transition like in Adobe xd function  Auto- animate. Figma - smartAnimation.

I understand that Affinity Designer aim on Illustration but it so cool tool for Ui/ux design.

I use Affinity Designer for Ui/Ux and I am very pleased with my working process BUT I really miss the ability to prototyping my design. 

As a solution, I see the following options:

- export from Affinity Designer to another app for prototyping like (ProtoPie, Figma, Invision)

- Prototypy Persona to have opportunity make animation and transition with artboard ( I think it's the best variant)

- another app in Serif line - Affinity Prototyper:)

[update 1.8 full terrible - throws out of the project]

update 1.8 - no new features for affinity design and it also crashed so often... wtf serif

a lot of bugs in this update but the worst thing is the program crash

update 1.8 worst update that came out. With this damn publisher you completely stopped improving your main products Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer. They need so many general tool for comfortable work without using third-party tools. And you decided to forces on development of a Publisher. Thank you for it. You have great applications but you develop them terribly. Of course, what I wrote is complete nonsense and who I am to tell you what to do. But I wrote it for some reason. Thanks for attention. [Ability to use tools Burn, Dodge, Sponge for mask]

Hi! It'w be a super if Affinity Photo has Ability to use tools Burn, Dodge, Sponge for mask. Using the Dodge and burn on a mask layer is handy when using to affect only shadows, midtones or highlights.

[The color picker is terribly slow]

In Affinity Photo, Color Picker is extremely slow. It's terrible. When you use Brush tool and press alt/option to pick color, Color picker work so slow that it causes a lot of anger. please make your Color picker tool quick. Better fast and uptime than beauty.
