  1. For me the original remains the best! Ciao e grazie Davide
  2. Well Done! 👍🏻 You've just formulated a core concept that underpins one of the world's oldest philosophies/religions! 😃 Ciao e grazie Davide
  3. Yeah, I'm curious about Akili's roots. Is it based on some ancient tradition or is it just made up? I ask because the quote you mentioned at the beginning ("Akili is a spirit of change etc...") perfectly reflects one of the core principles of another religious movement (Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism). It's fascinating to think that different cultures, maybe even in different historical periods, could come up with such similar concepts. Maybe I'm looking for meanings where there are none, but I'm really interested in learning more. As you can probably tell, English isn't my first language, so I hope I managed to translate my thoughts correctly. Just in case, here's the original Italian version as well. Ciao e grazie Davide
  4. I really like your work! Bravo! 👏 I'm really interested in Akili, can I ask how to learn more? I've done some research, but I haven't found anything! 😞 Ciao e grazie Davide
  5. Nice! I love rabbits! 🐰 It would be cool if you got some shirts printed. 😎 -Davide
  6. Hi all I messed around a bit with the brush in AP and I managed to recreate the chain made in AD The issue was that the second image was on top of the first one, but by setting the "rotation" setting in the brush dialog to 50%, the second image was positioned correctly! For anyone interested, here is the brush ... Remember to use the Stabilizer for best results! Ciao! Catena.afbrushes
  7. Sure thing! Lost Identity But keep in mind this was made back in 2012... 😅 Everything was created in Blender, then I put it all together in Photoshop where I added the crows, the sky, and the atmosphere. I liked the effect at the time, but now it feels like it lacks depth... 🤔 In the 2D version, I decided not to include the masks to make the mannequin stand out more - it should be the main focus after all 😎 Overall, the 2D version is still the best for me, even if it has some flaws... ☺️ I can't help but always find something to improve, even when something is already pretty good. It's a curse! I have a ton of unfinished work because I keep going back and trying to make it better... ironically, it usually turns out the other way around! 😅 Ciao e grazie Davide
  8. You're right, any 3D program is... demanding... 🤯 I felt comfortable starting with simple projects and focusing on one problem at a time. For example, a simple image with a rock as the main subject and dozens of tutorials on how to create it to find the best one and adapt it to your needs. Once the rock has been created I can move on to another element, such as grass and so on. You learn and create something at the same time! 😀 I also use the same method with 2D, for example when I decided to add sunlight beams, I tried 4 or 5 methods before finding the right one, but now if I have to do it again it takes me a fraction of the time! I don't have work deadlines, so I use the time I need and have fun experimenting! Ciao e grazie Davide
  9. Hi guys, It's all right? 👋 This time I have something very simple: a cover for one of my pieces of music. A little touch of typography on top of a Pixabay image. Ciao e grazie! 👍 Davide
  10. Thank you! Great job! ... I'm trying to reproduce the PS "Cutout" filter, I was especially interested in the Edge Simplicity and Edge Fidelity parameters, if you have any ideas...
  11. Hi there 👋 This time I tried to recreate my old work with Blender. The challenge was not to use 3D programs, but only free images and AP of course! In the attachment, I have put the images used and also the Affinity Designer brush that I created to make the chain. To use it in AP create a curve in AD, assign the brush to it as a Stroke, and copy and paste in AF. From here you can change the chain's shape and thickness from the control panel - I haven't figured out how to create it directly in AF yet... 🤔 I hope you like it! Ciao e grazie Davide catena.afbrushes
  12. Very nice! Very elegant and stylish 😎👍
