  1. Hi IanStuartPhotographer Thanks for posting on the forums :) What settings were used when exporting? Would it be possible to attach the .afphoto file you are working with so I can test this? Thanks! J
  2. Hi inquire Thanks for posting on the forums :) This video maybe of some help to you. We do not at the moment have any text tutorials, this is something we will look at in the future. You do have inbuilt help in the app, you can view video tutorials here and of course ask a question on these forums. :) Jack
  3. Hi Jonfuller1004! Splodge is looking great! :D Can I ask which method you went for when creating your character? How did you find it? Jack
  4. Hi Daurbanlegend, Welcome to the forums :) I would suggest Affinity Designer for your project, typically for vector drawings which would be great for creating or editing logos. You don't need experience to use the app, we have put together a collection of video tutorials to get you started and you can always use these forums to ask questions on anything the videos don't cover. Jack
  5. Hi pjglad Do you have the correct Layer selected? Seems to be working fine here! Jack
  6. Hi MikeP I personally have created a folder called 'Images' on my desktop and keep them stored there. When in Affinity I just browse to that location. What ever suits you best! We are looking to create PDF user guides for the Affinity range so hopefully this will come in the future. For now, the video tutorials and here on the forums are the best places to get help. We do also have in built help in the App. (Just click Help at the top of your screen) Jack
  7. Hi Davebacon76 Welcome to the forum! As the A7RII isn't on our supported camera lists, I would suspect that is the problem. We are updating the list over time so I would suggest keeping up to date with the beta to test this with in future :) Jack
  8. Hi We do not have a Vanishing Point tool specifically, feel free to request it here. The Perspective Tool will give you a grid over your image and should be just fine, can I ask what the problem is specifically with the Perspective Tool? Jack
  10. Hi Pantone support is already on our roadmap and will be available in a future update. :) Jack
  11. Hi Fmlfoto What is the mystery? The Patch Tool seems to be fine here! :) Jack
  12. Hi psjohnuk! Welcome to the forums :) This video maybe of some help to you. If you are looking for the perspective tool specifically, you can access this from the Tools panel on the left, click the Mesh Warp flyout, then the Perspective Tool. Jack
  13. Hi StefaneG You can enable 'Snap to Grid' and 'Force Pixel Alignment' which will help you position objects on the grid. I have highlighted these options in the image below. Jack.
  14. Hi Welcome to the forums! :) This is not currently available in the full version at the moment but will be added in a future update, you can however access this feature in the latest customer beta build of Affinity Photo which you can download here. :) Jack
  15. Hi Manolosf I am unable to replicate this issue here, could you try resetting the app? This can be done by opening the app with the CTRL key held down, clicking Select All and Clear Let me know if this helps :) Jack
  16. Hi Noob You wouldn't add a background layer to the slice, it would involve you creating your own slice as opposed to using the Layers Tab and manually defining the area you wish to export. When in the Develop Persona, use the Slice Tool (S) and draw the selection across the layer you wish to export of course including the background. I hope this helps. If it doesn't feel free to provide a copy of your file and i'll take a closer look. Jack
  17. Hi GaryC This video maybe of some help to you! :) Jack
  18. Hi Miequist Can you confirm the export settings used when you exported previously? Are you using the JPEG (Best Quality) option? Also, what Resample setting have you used for the export? Sorry for all the questions! :) Jack
  19. Hi smhamberlin Welcome to the forums! Affinity Photo does have a Radial Blur feature which you can find under Filters>Blur>Radial Blur I hope this helps! Jack
  20. Hi Welcome to the forums :) At this stage it is not possible to hide the outlines, this has been mentioned in another post and it was suggested by a developer that this will be looked into to see if any improvements can be made at all. With regards to changing roundness across multiple objects, this can be done with the Corner Tool selected and clicking on multiple nodes with the Shift key held down. This will round off each node you have selected :) Thanks Jack
  21. Hi 1979mark Can you confirm which colour profile you have used within Corel and is this being used in Affinity also? Would it be possible to provide a copy of the file you are working with so I can take a closer look at the problem? Thanks, Jack
  22. Hi pjglad We do not currently have an HSL feature within the Develop Persona unfortunately, this has been requested before here so it may be something that can added to the app in the future. Please feel free to also post this in the feature requests part of the forum! Jack
  23. Hi Welcome to the forums :) Have you tried to redownload the App from the App Store at all? It seems there is an issue with the downloaded file. Jack
  24. Hi tony.d Welcome to the forums! We have no plans to add a slideshow or music feature at the moment. We are focusing specifically on the photo editing side of things. Jack
