    Great painting!! I may be misunderstanding your comment, but there is an eyedropper tool on the Colour panel on AP ... does that not do what you need it to?

    Problem with colour scanning

    I'm having a problem using Acquire Image to import an image from a scanner. The scan preview looks fine and a black and white scan is fine, but a colour scan looks garbled. I'm able to import the colour image successfully using other software (Image Capture and Pixelmator). Scanner is HP Envy 4500 and I'm using Affinity Photo trial on OS X 10.10.5. Two images attached - the successful b&w image and the colour version of the same.
