You have version 2.x? Then you'll find it simply under Window.

I really like the image and how the text is arranged left to the eclipse. IMO too many different fonts / variants are used. The text needs more space around it, because the image is the eye catcher. All in all I would be interested to come.

Just to be sure: Walt's solution does not strip ALL metadata. It depends on what you want to have cleared, only EXIF and GPS? Then Walt gave a good advice.

I do know, that you are located in Scotland. Can't be to hard to figure out your exact position. Just joking. In the export dialogue you can disable "Embed metadata". Does this work safely enough for you?

You ruined my research for a workaround. 😭 Edit: Wasn't meant seriously.

It is because it is an open curve. Expand stroke IMO works only with closed curves. But there is a "workaround". 1) Duplicate the open curve in the exact same place. 2) Select both with the Move Tool (IMPORTANT). 3) Switch to the Node Tool and Join Curves. 4) Expand Stroke.

Affinity Publisher 2.x doesn't like or understand, but 1.x detects two fonts for replacement.

Oh dear. In 2023 was also a summer break (a gap between June and September), so nothing unusual. 5 updates since the acquisition news in March 2024 does not sound like coming to an end.

Below a comparison of the file. Left AP with the Assistant Settings and on the right Raw 16.4 in PS 2024. Not too far from the preview. PS lost details, AP has too harsh edges around the light.

You cannot use CMYK for PNG. Why do you need a PNG?

Kannst du hier die Druckerei nennen? Das würde mich doch sehr interessieren. Ein Export aus Indesign 2024 ergibt 488,3 x 325,0 mm in Acrobat und geöffnet in Illustrator 2024 488,34 x 325 mm. Also entspricht es exakt dem Originalformat. ICH (aus meiner Erfahrung) halte diese Abweichungen für vernachlässigbar. Als Vergleich: EINE Seite 150g müsste eine Dicke von 0,15 mm haben. P.S.: Schick denen einfach eine PDF-Datei in der von APublisher erzeugten Größe und frage, ob die damit zurecht kommen.

Sagt Acrobat dir das? Wenn ich in Acrobat die Seite zuscheide mit mehreren Nachkommastellen ist es wieder in Dokumenteigenschaften auf eine Nachkommastelle gerundet. Andere Frage: Wieso benötigt deine Druckerei ZWEI Nachkommastellen bei Millimetern? Ich könnte meinen Ex-Chef jetzt dazu zitieren, das wäre aber höchst unfein. P.S.: Ich habe meine PDF jetzt mal in Illustrator 2024 geöffnet und die Größe ist 488,36 x 325,04 mm.

Doch, geht. Schau mal unter Bearbeiten -> Einstellungen -> Oberfläche und ändere die Dezimalstellen für Einheiten.

Thx for the video. I know this method, but it has some disadvantages. Splitting a page into three parts is not helpful, when you want to export the file to PDF with 6 individual pages. Still waiting for the multipage feature for years.

No. This won't work too good. Just tried to make 2 A4 pages and in the middle a 15 mm spine. Seems to be that the spine uses a 210 width (A4) although only 15 mm wide.

This is an extravagant option. Not tested out til the end.

I would not call this a bug. I could imagine, that not every single word is part of the dictionary. So just "learn" the word and you will never be bothered again. This is what I do with a lot of words in German.

Maybe you should try a Gaussian Blur FX with the white box.

Strange. What about the Preset Digital small size and Rasterise Nothing?

Not in the Preview, but in the exported file on Win10.

The option Rasterise: Nothing changes the colours. E.g. the Recolour Adjustment IS a raster effect.

How about grouping the raster layers in the Designer Persona and rasterising them?
