here is a recent thread about editing in Capture One
additionally you can check out round tripping using layered TIFFs to store the Affinity Layer information.
https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/pages/Sharing/export.html
For TIFF file formats:
- Save Affinity Layers—Layers in the document are preserved in the exported TIFF image.
cheers

FFT Denise is for reoccurring patterns such as stripes
your pattern is rather random and thus not suitable for FFT
try bilateral blur or other blur filters instead or Noise > Dust&Scratches

should be relatively simple.
compared with this high quality work

I doubt it is simple

took a look at the image provided in this other bug report
and saw some display glitches
as shown in the video:
another issue arises using HDR
he exposure is just way to high
cheers

William, no Software in the world will ever Color a black and white image by itself (unless it is RAW)

You can use the Colour Balance Adjustment along side the split toning adjustment to alter the tonal rand fro the highlights and shadows of the photo.

split toning is still a bit tedious
could this be reconsidered at some point?
thanks

30bugs? Worth the cost? Whaaat?
just add a star shape and blur and use some blend mode like screen or/ and play with the opacity
instead of a star shape you can also add additional lines
no big deal
i am sure there are many such Ps tutorials available on YouTube that are very well applicable to AP (or even AD)
let us know if you get stuck at a specific place

Hi - I will do the trial. Affinity looks impressive but also intimidating. Can someone point me to any threads for beginners to get oriented? i will do tutorials of course but it would be helpful if there is something to read first. thanks!
I've created some explanations regarding basic naming/ operations here
and further reading/ really getting into affinity
please reply in that thread if you find something missing/ not easy to grasp
there are links to official and unofficial video tutorials where apropriate in both of them so you should quickly find your way around

Fuji and RAW support is a constant struggle
but I think Affinity is working on RAW loading speeds as well cause when they release a DAM you do not want to wait dozen seconds to look at a RAW file

AP is just the wrong tool for 1200 photos or even 200
Adobe has LR and PS and LR is the tool to work on 95% of the images
PS is the tool to finish <5% of the images in a high end fashion, that is what AP is
other than that RAW loading speeds are somewhere on their radar as well

should be somewhere in there like "adjustments.propcol"

AP will/ should get linked layers to support this sort of work as well and even more but there is some uncertainty .... @MEB

this is what you are looking for, only available in ADesigner, not APhoto though

1 and 3 can be done by using macros
they can be played back on the iPad and soon one will be able to create them on the iPad as well
2 Andy Sommerfield has already taken on this idea and is working on it
