ashf
I can create a pixel object using brush/fill tool on a fill layer. The pixel object created is not removal and it's invisible on the layer panel. Painting/filling on fill layers shouldn't be possible. Can you show me how to draw with the brush on a filling layer?
Staff Gabe Posted September 17, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 17, 2019 Hi both, Paining on a fill layer will work just like painting on a mask. They have a "built in mask" and will only take into account the greyness of that colour. So, painting with black will delete while white will reveal the fill layer. This works as designed. Thanks, Gabe. Michail

To be clear, you don't have a pixel object. You've simply painted on the mask for the Fill layer. I'm not sure what the simplest cleanup method is, but one of these should help: Undo should help, or scrolling back in the History panel. Paint over those lines with black. white (Thanks, Carl.) Use the Flood Fill tool to fill with black. white. So it's difficult to select a color. This "mask" of fill layer should be more intuitive I think. there are many confusing behaviors.
