@Herenow Can you provide any more information?

Is the shape locked?

Which tool are you using when you try to duplicate with Ctrl+Drag?

Does this happen on all shapes / curves? Or just a specific one?

It looks like it doesn't duplicate anything - but check out the layers panel. It does work - you just can't see the duplicates on the canvas.

But you aren't dragging them to the canvas! You are dragging them onto the pasteboard.

And since Clip to Canvas is turned on by default, they are not showing.

View > View Mode > Clip to Canvas

Crap, I knew I was too tired for this. :$  Mixed up terms. My bad. Well, on the canvas, it works for me.

Hi Herenow,

You have to keep the Ctrl held down until you release the mouse. If you toggle the Ctrl whilst still holding the mouse you can see the original disappear/reappear. This is allows you to change your mind between a duplicate or move if you change your mind mid way through.
